  1. Let just make the small schools stay in their own little cornor, then we can put the private schools in another cornor, and then the other schools in one. Then they can seed or draw whatever they want. Would this make everyone happy?
  2. Thanks el gato. Maybe the next time I'm at the Teepee we can set and chat in the chairbacks!:thumb:
  3. Third times the charm for the Panthers! Kelsch and Co. by 4.
  4. Well agree to disagree on this one. I still think get rid of your enemies as fast as you can.
  5. The 38th district finals will be played at 2:00 this Saturday. Deming vs. Harrison Co. Harrison beat Deming by 8 earlier in the year. This was the 8th game in 6 days for 3 of Deming's starters. They wore down at the end. Harrison is a very nice team and it will take Deming's A game to get the job done. Good Luck to both teams.
  6. Strike I understand what you are saying. But if I'm a team who gets the 1 seed year in and year out why would I be afraid to draw? If I can take out my strongest opponent in the first round of the district then I would not have to worry about possibly playing them in the finals of the region if we both get there. How often have you seen a District champ lose to the runner up in the Region finals? It has happened a few times throughout the state. So if I can get rid of them early that is one less headache I have to worry with.
  7. I was there for the Menifee Co. game scouting, and the Bracken Co. game. The reason I was in the chairback seats for you information is because I like to set center court and close to the floor. Not in the upper level. Is that Okay with you? Anyway back to my point both games I was at Montgomery fans were on the visitor side. I just don't think this shows much courtesy. But, that is my opinion and we all have one.
  8. Why are you complaining? Your the Mason County of the 38th having homecourt advantage every year.
  9. Last time I checked teams go to the region individually not grouped together. It's each team for themself. The best, middle of the pack, and the worst. Sp who cares who goes as long as your team is one of them.
  10. It's funny that you use the word mudslingers and "target" schools in you post. All though it was not on this site but on your own web site I thought it was tasteless how you described University Heights in your review of the games. Remember they are 17 and 18 years old just like your Stangs are. I'm sure if your Stangs were mentioned in such a deregotary fashion you would take exception to it. Just practice what you preach.
  11. If this ever happens it will be there 1 out of every 4 years. When the 37th votes for the site. I think the 38th and 39th will always vote for Mason and the 40th will vote for Montgomery. As far as the 9th and 10th holding it together, this will never happen. The 10th regions AD's will not go for that and I don't believe the 9th AD's would as well. Plus, how much will it cost the 10th to rent of the NKU arena? If it cost very much don't expect to see the 10th there.
  12. I've been to both gyms and I will take the Fieldhouse over Montgomery's any day. If you sit in the first 4 or 5 rows of the upper level at Montgomery County you will feel like you are watching the game from a jail cell. The railing obstructs your view. Also, I have to question the reading comprehension of many of the Montgomery County fans. Many of them sat right in the middle of the vistors section in the chairback seats. Personally, I don't like the chairback seats because they take up to much space and you are always standing up to let someone in or out. This may sound minor but having fans from both teams on the same side together can cause unwanted problems. I also agree with some of the other post the benches and scorers table is right up against the home side bleachers. Making fans have to walk in front of the bench. I think there is just alot of dead and wasted space in that gym. It will be a mess there next year during the regional tournament.
