Yeah Zach Lewis played every position tonight, Lewis is the real deal and a great ball player. How many starters did Clay have out? Did they have 3 out, I know Marcum, Rawlings and who was the other one. Also is Rawlings out for the season?

The Tigers seemed to have some problems in the first half. Nice game for the Tigers though they had some key players out and overcame that and came out with a nice win. Nice to see Tanner Gilbert do so good tonight.

Yeah it was a great game, but Clay does need to work on their running game and be a little more unpredictable.. The Freshmen John Hooker has impressed me alot. He's a real good wide receiver. Anyone know how Marcum is? But Hazard has a great team, and is a powerhouse in 1A. Overall last night was just a great game..

Well Lewis did have a off night and that hurt the tigers alot. Clay lost one of their best defense players in the 3rd quarter, when he had to go to the hospital due to a ankle injury (34 marcum). I thought Clay just didnt have their game going tonight, and plus the penalties on Clay Co was just crazy. But it was a great game to watch. and dano if you didnt see any weapons on Clay but saw so many on Hazard how is it Hazard beat clay by only 1 on their home field?? come on mann.. Clay did have a bad night but they didnt look that bad...

I agree, I have to say I was worried by watching the scrimages but the Tigers looked very good last night especially the 2nd half.

Clay Co played bad D in the first half but I thought they had very good D in the second. I was very happy with the way they played. They were a ton of players that looked good for Clay tonight.

O come on Clay County looked good tonight, just admit it! Clay figured out how to handle the RB the 2nd half and was able to stop it alot better. Clay Co's Game is passing, but I thought they did pretty good at running it tonight.

Clay County looked very good tonight, they did really well the 2nd half.. At half time I think it was 26 to 29 Clay Co lead..But after the half Clay Cos Defense really stepped up and their offense just had a great game.. Nice game for alot of CC kids tonight, Lewis had a Great night, Collins, Dobbs, Marcum, Dunn, and Nolan also did very well tonight.

THe second half was the JV game, I think it was Clay 14 Corbin 8 As for Clays QB this is just is junior year, so you have alot to see from him yet. Lewis is a good kid, with a good head on his shoulders and I personally think his senior year he will be one of the best players in the state. I would love to see a regular season game between Clay and Corbin, remember Clay is a passing team they did not hardly pass the ball in this scrimage. I think it would be a good game if played in regular season. Stepp seems to not care if he wins or loses the scrimages.

I think Clays first game is against North, But I have to say I think will do better than 3rd... Im with you though I dont know why they even scrimage..

I do not believe Clay showed their true game tonight, Clay is a team that throws the ball alot...and that is something they did not do tonight.. I just dont understand why you would go into a game and not come ready to play your best..

Thats great to see young Whitney Jackson make the All tournment team, shes going to be a great ball player. I had heard rumors that Stephanie wasnt playing next year.. I hope that is not true, couse that would be a huge loss to the Lady Tigers

Yeah they have several nice post players.. One by the name of Whitney Jackson that will be a freshmen, that is going to be a outstanding basketball player. Also the Phillips girl will be a sophmore and she s very talented. Did Stephanie Jackson play in this tournment?

They Clay County Tigers and Bobby Keith story would be a great movie. Back in the late 80's when it was all going on NBC and CBS both did stories on them, even came to the homes of a few of the players such as Richie Farmer and a few of the other ones, The local Clay County tv station did a 20th year celebration and made a video about them and it was amazing. It showed all the news specials that had been done on them they were some by CBS, NBC, espn and others it was really interesting.

here is my top 5 #1 Clay Clay will be #1 until a 13th region team beats them and I dont know if any team will beable to beat them next year. #2 Whitley Co have most of their starters back but they still lost to Clay by double digits last year and Clay is going to be just as good this year. #3 Jackson Co I still think Jackson Co will have a good team next year, Tyree is a great player and if she can get some of the girls to step up they will have a good team. #4 South- Should have a pretty good team but they lost some really good players. #5 North- North Laurel could be better than #5 they have most of their players returning.
