WOW! Someone said on the prediction thread that this would be the upset of the year to this point if it happened. What a win for the Devils. I'm kinda shocked by this with how Russell's season has been going.

I'm smart enough to take Rose Hill in this one after a wrong prediction last game. I think Rose Hill wins by double figures.

Congratulations to an outstanding young man. I want to extend that to all of the area school winners. These kids are going far beyond sports in their lives, being great citizens and helping make other's lives better. I love seeing that recognized.

Nice win for the Royals. I predicted that Lewis would win by around this much so I have to eat crow. The young Royals surprise me with a nice road win.

Lewis has played some good ball this year, and I think this will be a tough road game for the young royals. Lewis probably by double figures.

I thought both teams competed well last night. Boyd seemed to finally get into their game for a few minutes in the 4th quarter. Only problem was that everytime they closed the gap a little Rose Hill would exploit their mismatches inside for several easy buckets in a row to push the lead back out. It seemed like Gregg never missed a shot around the basket the whole night. With both of these teams breaking in new coaches you're going to see some inconsistancy through the season, but you'll see more of what these two teams will be later in the season.

You're right, that was a reach around on that jump ball call. I was on the Boyd Co. side and I saw it the way you did. The refs did have a few bad calls, but overall I didn't think they were really biased one way or the other. Mostly just let them play the game. I personally prefer not to have a ton of fouls in a game because it completely disrupts the flow. As long as the teams aren't getting out of hand with it I like to see the refs let them play, which I thought they did on both ends last night.

West is hosting Elliott for their next game. Would a person be able to get in to that game or will it be standing room only.

LOL. I know who you're talking about because we were commenting on those calls too. But he did a good job convincing the officials by grunting and falling backwards. Did it twice in a row sucessfully. But I thought the officials did a good job this game. Didn't hardly notice them and that's how I like it. There were a few over the backs both ways but they called it the same for everyone. That's all you can ask.
