NCC definatly can play with Ryle... Kues needs to not take as many sacks because the line did give him time last week and he just took to long to throw it... But if the defense for NCC steps up they will be right there in the end... NCC did beat ryle 2 years ago and was in the games last year, they are much farther along this year than last as well

I saw Dixie's kicker when they played NCC in the scrimmages and he kicked it through the end zone on every kick off... Very impressive

TD by #25 followed by an interception on the next play from scrimmage which led to a FG

Holy cross big!!! Have not seen holy cross this year yet but they are usally ready to play... But saw Holmes in preseason and they did not look good

I think that Holy Cross will have something to say to NCC during the season, it should be a good game... But once the playoffs roll around NCC will be there to play just like they are every year... they get better as the year progresses... thats why they were 2-5 to start the year last year then just rolled off 8 in a row and won the title... If somehow Holy cross does beat NCC in the playoffs they will still have the likes of Danville and O-cath to deal with

How well did Kues throw the ball????

HHS and covcath have twice as many students and Campbell Ryle Boone and co. have 3 or 4 times as many students so why would they play up in those classes???

Beechwood will pretty much dominate class A almost every year

Ncc did not get there heads around on the ball enough on passes over the top and once again this week could not tackle the ball carrier

What is up with Holmes kicker there was no ball that was kicked deep at all

HC is kind of rebuilding this year and play in a somewhat difficult district

That being said this year will be the deepest the ninth region has been in many years 6 maybe 7 teams can compete for the title...

Sacred Heart on NCC, Boone, and NDA schedules...

Holy Cross has won 6 All "A" region titles in the last 10 years and 3 of the last 4.... But now that Noll and Lantry are gone they are really struggling and not to mention they just lost there coach a year ago... They had a very good run but i think that they will be lucky to win 10 games this year...

well your right that definatly has not happened in at least 5 years probally more than that... I dont really remember how high the Holmes team of 2002 were ranked at the beginning of the season... i believe that the NCC team of 2004 may have been ranked #4 behind NDA, Boone and Holy Cross... but thats the best i can do

Yes well coming from a NCC stand point we have been right there competing with all of the bigger schools... Every school on this list has at least twice as many girls as NCC... NDA is there every year, they may not win it but they scare alot of teams... Holmes has totally been out of the equation up untill last year it is good to see them back... HHS is top tier of athletics in NKY and they should be on the top of the list... In almost all sports HHS is judged as the best in NKY over the last 25 years

Yes I agree with those teams... NDA has been there year after year and gives Boone and NCC all they can handle in the region... However it always seems like they happen to face Boone in the region and NCC doesnt have to face them in the region... But i definatly think that over the next couple of years HHS will definatly be one of the 4 teams to beat... Ludlow and Conner may have good teams this year but they will have a very hard time competing with these 4 powerhouses year in and year out...

Kelly looked pretty good... He is a very hard runner and will have a very good year... Like i said before though hold onto the football
