Who wins??? Can NDA bounce back after the hugh injury to tierney. Can PCC keep up there winning ways

The Cincinnati Enquirer roported that after the game NDA coach Darpel said that she thinks that tierney tore her ACL and that she would be out the remainder of the tourney...Hopfully the Pandas can rebound and continue there march through the tourney although it is going to be very tough without her. Also hope that katie can rehab well and be back for a good senior year!!!

This is a heartbreaker for this team... She controls so much of there offense...

Yes they did not shoot it very well from the line at all... However to look at it from a positive they shot it very well down the strech

This was a heck of a game Tierney played a very good game... She did a very good job of controlling the game... Hope that she is okay after the injury as the clock expired

This years Boone Co. team was suppose to be the best rebels team ever said by most people and they fadded toward the end of the season... I would rank NDA on top until they do get beat... This is going to be a very competitive region next year. HHS, NCC are going to be right up there with both of those teams. NDA has an advantage over all of these teams because there coaching staff always does a very good job scheduling games outside of the state which will only make them that much better.

Everyone from NDA moves pretty well maybe not as well as Shelby but have played many running teams this year and have won... Jackson is a very good offensive player but also defends in transition very well... but of NDA's bigs move very well... Watch out Dickman will shoot the outside shot to you have to defend her tight everywhere

Does Shelby county have 2 girls that can match up and slow down both Drees and Dickman

NDA is a very good team... I do not know much about Shelby County... Who wins this one

The schedule that NDA played was much harder than that of SK... The ninth region was much better than that of the 8th... That is one of the reasons that Stowers only lost 3 games and NDA lost a couple more... NDA played many games outside of the state where as SK maybe played only one if that... Great job by Darpel this year she deserved this after having many great teams over the last couple years

Since we are the only state in the counrty with one state title it makes kentuckys state tourny one of the best in the country... The state champion can really say that they are the best in the state... In football the state champion can not really say that because there are 6 state champs... Anything can happen in basketball and small schools can have there chance to win a state title... If Kentucky ever went to a class system for basketball it would be the worst decision by KHSAA ever

Are they going to be clearing the gym between games like they did for the girls 9th region semis

NDA will run away with this one. They play such good defense and are much more physical than NCC. I would expect Drees and Dickman to dominate down low just like they did last night. If they can come out and shoot better in the first half than last night then it will be a blowout. NDA by 20!!!

Well what do you have to say for paying $12 for 2 games. When it has always been $5 to see both region semis.

Its the regional tournament and they do not normally let the entire student body on the court. This would have never been accepted in a boys regional. They did a very poor job running this years 9th region tourny. Hope that they do a better job tomorrow night and have a great turnout for the title game

Klei struggled for the most part she ended the game with 12 pts. She just could not get her shot to go down. Holmes did a good job with tight coverage on her for most of the game.

NCC has lived and died all year with good shooting and it was just not there tonight. They have turned the ball over 25+ times in a number of games and you just can not do that and expect to win this late in the season. I give alot of credit to the Holmes coaching staff in the fact that they followed through with the strategy of slowing the game down and not letting Newcath run at all.

The second half was totally dominated by the 2 big girls from NDA they were unstoppable... I agree the TV timeouts were horrible it ruined the rhythm of both teams, high school basketball does not need this when the players and officials are not use to it... In response to clearing the gym and having to pay again to get back in was absolutly horrible... not to mention the fact that it took them an hour between games

Who wins the second ninth region semi?

All the presure will be on NDA and highlands does have a good chance... however Allen and the Adlers sister must shoot lights out if they want to be there in the end... with that said i will take NDA by 10!!!

yes i agree they must go out and play a much harder game than they played tonight if they do want to play on saturday... i think that this may have been a game that wakes them up and the senior klei will be ready to come out and get her team fired up...
