The only reason we have hatred towards tOSU is because everyone is tired of a team being ranked #1 for so long that CLEARLY isn't the best team in the nation and had a good shot at staying there because of a slow and washed up conference. Not to mention, nobody wants a repeat of possibly the most boring championship game in history.

I think anyone that said UofL is currently an "elite program" is a little bonkers myself but Petrino certainly had us on the way there and that fact isn't debatable. You always bring up the "elite program" comments, and I'm just curious as to who the people are that said that. Can you possibly blame anyone for thinking #2 or #3 before the season started? Coaching changes can sometimes be a lot more difficult then people think, just ask Billy.

Despite the complete lack of a running game, numerous dropped balls, blown chance after blown chance, a HORRIBLE last defensive series coaching wise, a horrible last offensive drive and clock management, and the biggest bonehead play of the year (Guy), I am actually still happy with the way that they played last night. This team still has a tremendous upside and are only one or two plays away form winning every game this year. Coach K is regaining my confidence and I'm still excited about next year. I think UofL will actually have a better season as Coach K becomes more comfortable with the system he is using and the players as well. Now let's go beat USF and ESPECIALLY RUTGERS.
