I think JV records are misleading since young players will often play varsity instead of JV if they are good enough.
Boone County's JV was 10-2 in summer ball against Cincinnati (including Roger Bacon) and NKY teams and are 5-0 so far now. 3-4 freshmen start JV or get significant playing time, and 4 have seen varsity action. One starts varsity.
They have a lot of good young talent coming up. These freshmen placed third at the KBA 8th-grade middle school tournament last year. Their freshman team is 9-0 this year. They have played freshmen, JV, and varsity at various times.
