  1. Looks like he got some love from LSU while down there.
  2. Who did Notre Dame beat in the last month that was worth playing? Their last five opponents put up 22 wins on the season with 7 of those by Pitt. Notre Dame played basically a JV schedule down the stretch...they don't get bonus points for playing pushovers. Maybe they would have done better...but there is absolutely no way of knowing.
  3. Why did UGA not try a Hail Mary? Ole Miss gifted them one extra play...which was unbelievable to begin with.
  4. How does Georgia not throw a Hail Mary, instead of trying the lateral game?
  5. I finally started watching and UGA has fallen apart.
  6. You don't think a player at say Auburn, would catch a lot of flack if students, teammates and fans knew in 10 weeks he was leaving for Alabama? I could even see in some cases it would be unsafe if it was known a player was leaving for a big payday and they had to finish out the semester at their current school walking to class, going out to eat, even living in a dorm or apartment would put a potential target on their back. There is no need to debate this, because it will never happen in the middle of a semester. As far as rushing to fire/hire coaches, every school is going to rush to get their guy locked up before another school can.
  7. Can't watch, I appreciate the updates @16thBBall Fan.
  8. It would be a nightmare for some players if they decided in February or March, but then had to stay at the school two or three more months. Imagine a player transferring to a team on next year's schedule or to a team's main rival. No way they should stay, both for their benefit and the benefit of the team they are leaving. A better plan would be to start the season at the beginning of August and wrap the championship up by New Year's Day. Open the portal the 2nd of January just like now. That won't stop coaches from getting fired and hired in season, but will allow the transfer portal to be fair for all players and teams.
  9. Mark Cuban is involved with some of the IU NIL opportunities for students, he's got a few nickels rattling around in his couch cushions.
  10. To be fair, I think every team that thinks they deserved Alabama's spot would have gotten ran over too.
  11. The problem is that the portal and transfers have to happen before the 2nd semester starts. If you fire a coach in November or early December you can't wait until mid January to hire your next coach.
  12. Tempe would be a nice landing spot for sure.
  13. The only team that I think can physically matchup with them is Georgia, but UGA has some work ahead to even think about playing IU.
  14. Half of Alabama's team will jump in the portal by this time tomorrow.
  15. Meanwhile in Tuscaloosa...
  16. Rumors that Arizona State (Big 12) is the leader for Cutter.
  17. Hoosiers just very efficient in everything they do.
  18. Alabama hasn't had "Alabama" type linemen on either side of the ball for three or four years and it shows.
  19. FYI, DeBoer's buyout is between $60 and $70,000,000 for those wondering. ?
  20. That play will be Exhibit A in DeBoer's dismissal discussion.
  21. About time to start the clock on how much time is left for DeBoer in Tuscaloosa.
  22. Maybe, but he put enough on film that I can see a team wanting him. This team was trash most of the year and he still put up decent numbers, in the right situation he could be very successful.
  23. I'd guess he's already been offered more than UK was willing/able to pay. I think he'll announce new school quickly once the portal opens. He put enough on film this year, that a lot of coaches are going to like what they saw.
