Take away the complete meltdown by GRC in the 2nd half of the region championship game and GRC was 2-0. We can play that game all day.

More than half the team didn't even play in the first game you speak of so I don't believe that's a factor.

They have some very nice quality wins on the season. They aren't in state but they beat Huntsville Alabama, Memphis Central (probably best team they've played all year), then Male, Shelby County and LCA. No, they haven't beaten more of the 7th region teams they've played but every team is going to take some lumps. They were right there with Scott Co and without a mental letdown probably should of won that game. The Lex Cath game was a disappointment but GRC never plays them well.

Why do you think that? Stenzel is the only player on this years team that was on the 07 team who won the region. None of the players except for Stenzel and Rogers got much if any playing time in 08'. Last year they went 1-1 against Mason. How is there a mental hurdle?

Please, you guys are cracking me up. You honestly think GRC was afraid to play this game? I'll definitely keep this thread in the back of my mind for early March and we'll see who's getting the last laugh. And yes, I'm that confident and I'll make the statement and go out on a limb here. :lol: Barring any huge injuries keeping players out of post season games, GRC WILL win the 10th region. No upsets this year guys, GRC won't blow another championship game. :thumb:
