I am surprised how big the margin is on the poll. 150 votes is a nice total. -

This time tomorrow night Johnson County will be going crazy about playing in the state semi-finals... or we will be talking about what a good season Johnson Central had. The players, coaches, students and community all know Johnson Central can win. After last week's reality check against Ashland, JC knows they have to come play the best game of their lives. -

When Auburn plays at home, their stadium becomes the 5th largest city in Alabama... or that is according to NCAA football 2006 for play station 2. I think the same thing can be said for tomorrow night. "The Nest" will have a crowd like it has never seen. I dont know about the 5th largest city in Kentucky, but it should be close. Johnson Central has to come out and play their game. They have to protect the ball and keep doing what got them their. My prediction: Johnson Central - 35 Rockcastle County - 28 -

We can talk on here and discuss this game all we want. Come friday night, we are going to see one of the best games in recent memory. This being the BIGGEST game in Johnson Central's football history, I look for the PA guy and music guy to pull out all the stops. Both teams deserve to be playing in the region finals. Larkey and Matney have history, however the schools have never played before. God I cant wait until friday night! -

Johnson Centrals field will be dry, there is only about 2 little spots on the whole field that seems to always be wet. -
Johnson Central's stud linebackers
underarmour replied to Goliath's topic in KY Football (High School)
Any college coach that doesnt want these 2 must not believe in defense. I'll take "the long black train" and "the 45" over any 2 linebackers in the state. -

Yes they fumbled late in the game. I cant remember exactly what happened after that. But I do know JC scored on a deep pass play to win the game with only seconds left to go. -

Ashland didnt collapse! Johnson Central stepped up, they scored 2 td's late in the 4th quarter to win the game. That probably doesnt make sense. But Ashland came to win. Johnson Central was the better team. -

So being down by 7 in the 4th quarter with less than 6 minutes to go doesnt count as playing from behind? -
I must say that is an awesome video! :thumb:

Johnson Central's offensve line will need to block better in this game. I think Tony Burchett will have a good game plan for that. -
Will Johnson Central get to the Regional Tournament?

In all honesty, where does the school plan on putting the soccer field? -
Makes you wonder what the state title trophies will look like.

Johnson Centrals carriage turned into a pumpkin and they lost a glass slipper during the 2001, 2002 and 2003 seasons when they went 5-25. Matneys first 2 years werent flukes, neither is this season. Johnson Central has a new attitude... they are finally starting to realize that they can win.
