Do you think the Lakers can defeat the Warriors in 2019?

I said the same thing on twitter last night. You can’t be a UK or Duke fan and mad at Golden State for acquiring Cousins.

But yet they stay scared.

They won’t sweep LeBron ever again. Had Magic Johnson not been an idiot they wouldn’t have Cousins and they would no longer be favored to win the title but Magic is an idiot, Bob Myers scooped up Cousins and now Golden State isn’t scared of LeBron again.

So they didn’t add Cousins to make their team better? If they are so good and don’t need any help to beat LeBron then why add Cousins?

They most certainly should. They’d be stupid not to. They’ll need all hands on deck to defeat LeBron. That’s been their strategy since he and Kyrie defeated their record setting 73 win team in the Finals.

They also lost to him and then Draymond called KD in the parking lot after the Cavs win the title.

They went to KD because they couldn’t beat LeBron. Now they made sure the Lakers didn’t get Cousins because they are scared of LeBron.

Ehhhh, this move was definitely to send a message to LeBron. LeBron went to the Lakers and they went from not making the playoffs to at worst 3rd favorite to win the title. The Lakers are making moves left and right. Adding dogs and goons to the team and then the Warriors add Cousins but it has nothing to do with LeBron? Yeah I ain’t feeling that theory. The fact that the Rockets had the Warriors on the ropes is more reason for the Warriors to snatch up Cousins. This had everything to do with LeBron in LA.

I was coming to say the same thing.

Cousins was going to whip KD last season after a game. Now they are teammates. I love the NBA.

I love it and I think this is great. Every league needs a villain and right now it is the Warriors. Cousins is betting on himself and this is a genius move on his part.

How much is Lance getting?

It’s wild to think that a thigh contusion kept him out all season and I still hate it wasn’t a bigger story than what it was.

I don’t disagree but it seems the precedent has been set if Kawhi’s personal doctors are saying he can’t play while the Spurs doctors say he can. Either way, the ball is in Kawhi’s court and if he is saying, “it’s Lakers or I ain’t playing” then past history leads me to believe him.

Lance can guard Steph or Klay. Javale McGee is just there for decoration. :lol2:

I’ll be almost as excited for the 2019 offseason as I was for this season. Waiting to see what GS will do next year is going to be fun.

If Klay takes less than his worth he’ll stay at GS.

The San Antonio Spurs doctors cleared him to play in January.

I don’t disagree but no contending team is going to give up good assets while Kawhi is making it clear to teams he would be a one year rental.
