Lew is truley one of the great minds in basketball!!! Took Hazard to All A state, State Tourney and also a team in Tennesse to State there. Was great at Franklin Co and is a really great guy. Was one of harlans best. Good luck to him. He is really a great guy and fits in well at hazard. I think Hazard went from 3 in region to back up to #1 with this hire

A coach has been named at Bracken County! He will have big shoes to fill! Good team coming back which helps the first year but then we will see. Of course we should wait for TubbyCat to announce since he is the all knowing in this saga of Polar Bear land :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I think sometimes coaches have to go in and be no non sense to get a program under control. He may have rubbed parents the wrong way, but I do think he is all for the best of the kids and tries to make his program about the kids not the parents. Bracken County is very much respected in the 10th now and I think as an athletic director he may have done an even better job, but this is looking from another schools perspective. Good luck to the Polar Bears and Hammonds. I would think if he stays at BCHS they will be reckoned with this year, good kids coming back from summer talk.
