  1. I believe this was their first loss
  2. Too close to call. But I'll give the edge to HHS. Very quick and their record speaks for itself. Think CCh will give them all they can handle but in the end i go with HHS 27-17
  3. Cov Cath #1 Ryle #2 Boone #3 Beechwood #4 This if there are no injuries to the pitchers. Remember last year CCH #2 pitcher Houlehan out for the season after a 6-0 Junior season with 4 shut outs. Beechwood could move up the ladder quickly if their youg pitchers develope over the winter. They already have one of the best if not the best pitchers in NKY in Cody Elliott.
  4. Outstanding Lark!!!! No one I no derserves a shot a college baseball more that you. Tim and Leslie the dream continues. We had a lot of fun over the past 4 years. Can't wait to see Connor playing at the next level.
  5. Had the pleasure of watching Cody play several times during the high school season and again during the summer. What an outstanding young man on the ball field. He not only is a very good pitcher but is also an excellent outfielder and is a threat everytime he comes to the plate. What a thrill to watch this guy motor around the bases. Can't say enough good things about him. Congrats to him and his mom and dad. Well deserved:ylsuper: :ylsuper:
  6. Great post STRIKE3!!! Couldn't agree with you more.
  7. Ryle players, class all the way. Shelby County good luck the rest of the way. As posted earlier, not many teams get to where you were raiders. Congrats!!!!!
  8. WOW. I didn't expect that. Thought the Raiders would get to the next round. Congratulations on an outstanding season to all the players at Ryle. Everybody in the 9th is proud of each and every one of you.
  9. Error,Errors,Erros. Somerset did not give the Raiders a game at all. At no time other than in the 3rd was Ryle even tested. The stands were full but other than that I think the game last night keeped alot of people away. Go Raiders!!! Good luck down state. Solid defense and good sticks. Keep it rolling.
  10. Don't know much about Somerset, but I will go and cheer for the Raiders. Solid team with a winning attitude. Kids play with a lot of classs which is a true reflection of their coach. Go Raiders!!!!!!
  11. Sorry the error. I meant Dustin.
  12. My son played AABC ball with Justin a few years ago. Great kid and comes from a great family. Saw him play all three games in the region and he did a great job. I say the honor is well deserved.
  13. Not sure how many pitches Nutini threw but he was still looking sharpe in the bottom of the 6th. I would say he still had another inning in his arm. But that is just my opinion.
  14. Still have to give him the benefit of the doubt with his wining record and a state title. Not happy with his decision tonight, but I'm sure there are great coaches in the history that made a few bad decisions along the way.
  15. That was Skylar Stein #40. And your right he makes that catch 999 out of 1000 times. Great kid. He helped the Colonels win alot of games this years with his glove and his bat.
  16. Everyone sitting around me had the same thought as you 3ptshooter. After the way Nutini was throwing in the 6th we couldn't imagine what Krumps was doing. If he came out and got in trouble OK, but this move made no sense. Maybe Nutini told the coach he was done?? Guess we will find out in the following days from the players. Once agin congrats to the Raiders.
  17. Why coach Krumps pulled Nutini the starting pitcher is beyond me. I would say this loss goes on the coach. No disrespect to Ryle. They still had to win the game. Good luck to the Raiders. I will be pulling for you.
  18. Must be the name. Popham=defense!!!! LOL
  19. Last year at CCH a pitchr was made to switch gloves by the home plate umpire because his glove was black and tan. The only time I've seen it happen. Umpire said it was distracting to the hitter. Sounds like it is up to the ump.
