I had only positive experiences with the Frankfort fans. They did section off part of the home bleachers for Bellevue. Thanks!!! We needed the space as ther Tigers fans did come out in full force. No repeat of the Brossart incident this time.
:popcorn:Glad to see the Tigers win. A real intense football game with lots of shifts in momentum. Bellevue converted more mistakes than Frankfort did. Defense really picked it up after the second Frankfort drive. They started to show the desire. Offensively, the Buckler kid carried the load for sure, but the QB hit some big passes in the second half too. Hegge had an amazing catch over the middle.
Thought it was going to get real ugly at the end. :scared:That is the way to keep your poise Tigers.
Now, get serious about beating :puke:Beechwood!

About how many fans do you think Bellevue will bring along? Just wondering
I would guess in range of 250-300. I heard the parents have chartered a bus, plus a "spirit" bus for the students, not to mention the all the others who will make the drive themselves. I have talked some of my old Vietnam buddies into going and keep on celebrating Veterans day (with a DD of course)!

1. How would the courts/Police departments determine a margin of error?
2.. How does the police department calibrate their radar guns? The last ticket I got, the officer noted on the ticket, that the equipment was "calibrated" that morning. Is that an attempt to keep people from challenging the ticket?

I like all star teams, but not necessarily games at this level. I agree that player selection is always tough. The Red Devils legitimately have 8 or 9 players that could be better than the top player form Newport or Dayton this year.
Consider injuries in a "meaningless" game. Slemac, I know you are familiar with Geiman as a basketball player. Not to wish him any luck, but what about his basketball season if he were to get hurt.
Sorry, meant to say "Not wish him any BAD luck...". I pray that everyone comes out healthy!

Then that would show you are concerned, correct? The Panthers will find a way to score off of their special teams .
Concerned, maybe.
Smart, definately!

Well here I go.....I've stayed silent for a while but....I've sat down and analyzed a lot about this game, I've heard the injuries, the set backs, the ejections, the ineligable players. I know the style of play of Bellevue and their Runningback's ability.
But
Then there was Special Teams.
Frankfort 24
Bellevue 21
I'm sure Frankforts special teams will not be a concern for Bellevue. Punt out of bounds, squib kick the 5 or so kick offs and you limit their returns.

I dont think the fans from Bellevue will be quite so nice in tone, use of language, or as compromising as those fans of Brossart. :madman:

The Tigers return the opening kick-off and was firing on all cylinders after that. Defense played great. They would give up a play then come back with one or two for negative yardage all night. Buckler had another outstanding game. I figure it was close to 200 and I think 4 scores.

Doesnt the short study time affect all the teams that had games switched? So, it really is no advantage or disadvantage to anyone.
-
Bellevue has really started playing well on defense going back about 4 or 5 weeks or so. What kind of changes have been made?

The NKYFL Super Bowl games will be played at Dixie Heights High School on Saturday Nov. 7th.
The NKYFL site has the games as 12:00, 1:00, 2:30, and 4:00.
Can somebody help fill in the rest?
Pee-wees: CCRD vs ?
Midgets: CCRD vs ?
Juniors: ? vs. ?
Seniors: CCRD vs. Bengal Tigers

It's flat out dangerous to pitch anyway. You are way to close to batter. I think they should put up pitching screen and let the pitcher duck behind that after the delivery. Then, any ball that hits the screen is an out.

Disappointed that BBHS didn't stick with original suspension of their player. What message does that send to everyone else who keeps their nose clean ?
Perhaps they didnt need the player at all. BB did score 40 against Dayton without him. Message sent to that player!!!

Congratulations to Ricky Buckler. Tonight he became Bellevue's all-time leading scorer and set the single game rushing record. :notworthy:

I beleive that the teacher could have spared a 6 year old the graphic details. I simple "bad person took the girl while her parents werent there to protect her" would have been more appropriate.
I dont have a problem with a teacher teaching real life events; just consider the audience though when speaking.

Dayton High School's band plays continuously throughtout the game. What makes it worse is that the visitor's sideline is also the side with the stands where the band sits. At times, they are loud enough to make it difficult to communicate to players on the field.
-
That is crazy about scoring 31 in the 4th quarter.
Not to take anything away from Brossart, they are much improved over last year, but what about Dayton? Traditionally, in down years, after Dayton plays Bellevue, the kids have nothing else to play for, so after that game, they basically just quit playing.
Did Bowman play and what was the circumstances around that situation?

Who coaches Brossart?
Eagle 4 Life will know the answer to that one.
-
Congrats to Brossart! You are finally playing some football the right way.

I hope it stops raining. I want to see this game, but do not wish to sit there if it is raining?
Secondly, as for all the advantages/disadvantages in playing in the rain, both teams have to play in it, so you have the same risks of slipping and fumbling.
Hopefully Bellevue comes out inspired and plays a hard nosed, north-south kind of game and walks away with the win.

The microwave was invented after a researcher walked by a radar tube and a chocolate bar melted in his pocket.

I think he'll come out OK in court because this will surely end with a hung jury.
:laugh::laugh:
Ok, I wont walk around in my house naked anymore.
