  1. It was Scott's time, and to be frank, I'm glad that Simon stepped up and said no, instead of going with whatever two judges said he should stay (my guess would be the two female judges)

Also, just a tidbit, did anyone else catch when he said he wouldn't know if he was better last night or not until he watches the tape?

As for the rest of the competition, Adam is by far the best singer, but I just don't think he will win

I caught that. Thought it was maybe a jest at himself.

Scott is not totally blind. He has very limited tunnel vision in one eye.

  2. He was a poor singer who got much further than he should. I, along with many others, believe that it's because he was blind and people like a good story. I've never suggested that he wanted it that way, it's just how it is, and he got votes because he was blind. I know of people who liked him based solely on the fact that he was blind and overcame it. Sorry if it offends you, but it's a fact. Anyways, he is finally gone and the competition can move on with talented singers.

As much as I hate to admit it, I agree. That is the mentality of people who are trying so hard to overlook the obvious. They are trying to over look his visual impairment by saying what a great job has done. While I do admire his talent (I wish I had some of it), he was just not as good as the others.

This also brings me to Anoop. He is one of the better singers in the competition (if he would pick the right songs). But he has consistantly been in the bottom of votes because of his Middle East looks. This may not be PC, but it is the truth. He does not look like an "American" Idol.

Some people benefit from the voting, while others suffer.

  3. Ive always been against Adam, but 2 out of the last 3 weeks he has blown me away. Him and Danny and Allyson are by far my 3 favorite.

    :thumb::thumb::thumb:

Scott has to go. I thought he was terrible.

    Then Lil

    Then Chris

    Then Anoop

Then the guy who acts like Justin Timberlake

    Then Allyson

Then it will be between Danny and Adam.

Adam is the better entertainer and possibly singer, but I am not into his style. I prefer Danny (but he needs major help in the stage deptarment)

  4. Wolfzorn is currently in private business from what I understand. Has anyone heard any names at all?

Brad Wolfzorn is working for a limosine company in NKY. I saw with my own two eyes in an ICN6 promo. He is out of teaching and has been for a couple of years now. Now sure about coaching though.

  5. I'm in no way shape or form a UK fan, but does anyone other than me think that Meeks could hurt his draft stock by staying? I mean I dont think he will be drafted that high anyways but look at all the talent that could be coming in to UK. He wont get much spotlight. Just wondering what you guys think about this.

Think about UK raising their offensive output about 20+ per game. Those points have to go somewhere and with the way meeks hustles, cuts and shoots, he will get some of those--even with sharing.

  6. Talk about reading the fine print.

That went over my head too. I thought it was all time wins.

    Lets try this.

    ME = :idunno:

the NCAA wins list in ok, but without the titles it doesn't mean much to me. I prefer the all time wins list.

  7. A couple days ago, I was cutting the grass and using the weed trimmer. (Not at the same time, that would be dumb). Well, for some reason, I ran right over the extension cord with the mower. I saw the cord, but for what ever reason, just didn't stop. Cut the cord into pieces.

The only thing I could think of was that my mind was somewhere else.

  8. I don't know if I could call this a big hire. If he could have gotten a good head coach to leave and come to BBHS, then yes, it would be.

Anyone know who was interviewed or applied?

I agree. This is a borderline hire at best. I know the Scott following will voice their support. But come on. How can the Brossart fans get excited over a middle school coordinator whose bio does not indicate even a head position on any level. This looks like a "settle" hire to me.

Is there a reason why Casey did not have him on the varsity staff since he had already had some years with the Eagles?

I have relatives that play for Brossart and I want them to do well.

    Just my opinion.

  9. I know he wont be able to keep up the pace that he has set in his first full week, but WOW!!! He has given the Reds and their fans a shot in the arm.

I truly beleive that the Reds have the right mix of youth and veterans that could start to put together a run for the division title.

    Way to go Jay!!!:dancingpa

  10. It won't be at Scott. I have heard that they traded away their turn in the rotation for a turn in 2011(?). Not sure the reason why if it was due to field or new coaching staff or what.

Scott did trade their turn to coach the game because the new coach was still assembling a staff and did not want a staff that has not worked together to ruin the experience for the players. This has nothing to do with where the game is played. It is being played at Scott.
