Well now that I've seen Montgomery, they're decent. Their two guards, just super quick. Great players. I wasnt impressed with Prewitt... And then the second half happened. Brossart didn't play great at all, but Montgomery is a very great team. They'll do the 10th Region proud, if they win tomorrow. Very, very proud of Ben Uebel and Justin Saunders. Both had great careers In different ways. Justin's one of the best scorers of all time at Brossart, and Ben persevered through so much. Never got tons of Accolades this year, but he was such an important player. So, so proud of him. Congrats to the Indians. Excellent team. Congrats to the Mustangs on a great year.

Am I wrong? It would be disingenuous to say that Mongomery hasn't benefitted from transfers. Not insinuating anything else. I'm sure if those same kids were moving to Alexandria, Brossart wouldn't turn them away.

Most high school teams have the luxury of playing with each other for an extended period of time. Others have the benefit of having several starters transfer in.

Really feel for Seibert and Beuter and the other seniors for the Breds. Just a terrible draw. Hope NCC looks back and realizes all they accomplished this year. Only second team ever to win All A State, I believe. Great season.

So you haven't seen Brossart play? Yeah, that's hat I figured. I know it's easy for a lot of you to sit back and type out these grandiose predictions, but if you don't know anything about Brossart, make it a little less obvious. Brossart always controls the tempo. Always. That's why they are what they are. I don't know anything about Montgomery, but it seems as if they are talented enough to win regardless of the tempo. Montgomery very easily may win by 15, I don't know much about them. Other than they have a lot of talented players that came with Happy and a D1 stud in Prewitt. However, I don't think Brossart's toughness or personnel or coaching allows this to be anything but a hard fought game.

Just curious, how many times have you seen each play? Who did they play against in each game?

Brossart's gotta get physical with Montgomery. They have to take good shots, frustrating them on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. I haven't seen Montgomery, but it seems like they're extremely talented. I still think Brossart's experience, composure, and toughness wins the game. Atleast I hope so. I'll be interested to see if they go with length or physicality against Prewitt. Trentman's length, Saunders athleticism, and Rieger's toughness will give Prewitt different styles during the game, which could frustrate him. Interesting to see the battle of the PGs too. Brossart pulls it off 53-47. Make history boys.

If I'm not mistaken, Augusta played Brossart closer than Scott did either time. That's gonna be a great game. Upset to see Brossart on same side as Montgomery, but ya gotta beat them eventually. That will be an awesome game, if both advance to the second round.

Alex Trentman dunks over people, turns around, doesn't even smile. Scott still had all their starters in. They had fouled on the last possession. How was Alex supposed to know they had decided not to play defense? Sour grapes. Alex is a great kid, and I think you'd be hard pressed to find one other person in the world call him classless.
