  2. Rams played a little sluggish but get the win. The Sparks kid from Lewis can shoot. I'd say Tolliver lead Raceland in scoring . Congrats to Rams.
  3. Nope, Kouns was sleeping at raceland tonight.
  4. Fast paced game. Devils scored at will against the press. Devils are hard to press. They spread court and get layups . Russell had 17 turnovers ,but few were against press.Ram defense was pretty good when it got into half court set. Vanhoose hit some 3's and Gill was putting rebounds back in. The radio said Russell shot 55%. They also did decent at the line. Rams will be ok. Maybe a little tired from Tennessee trip.
  5. When the Rams are hitting their shots they can light it up. We'll see Tuesday. Raceland will come ready to play.
  6. Sure, host it there. Why not, since that's where it all began. They should also use the same standards in classifying eligible teams as they use in football. There are too many legit 2 A teams playing in this.
  7. Rams lead from the beginning and played everyone. Placed 5 players in double figures with Miller leading them with 19. Hatfield 17,Osborn 16 and Tolliver and Holbrook 11 each. Raceland hit 11 out 18 3's and shot 63% for the game. Way to go Rams. :dancingpa
  8. Rams get big win. Don't have stats , but I do know they played everyone that made the trip. Starters played very little in second half.
  9. breathitt was down by 21 to Raceland either late in the third or early in the 4th. Raceland started stalling and began turning the ball over and Breathitt hit a bunch of 3's to cut it down. Breathitt hit a 3 at the buzzer to cut it to 2.
  10. Rams get a put back shot with 1 second in OT from Jacob Sparks for the win. Both teams gave everything they had. Last time these 2 played poor free throw shooting cost Rowan, this time it nearly cost Raceland. Raceland's defense was great tonight. They gave Daniels no easy looks and made the other Viking players try to beat them. Way to go Rams. :ylsuper:
  11. I asked the kid who blocked the shot(Miller). He said he had no contact with Euton on the shot. Said he got it after it left his hands. Euton didnt see him coming and so, got no lift on his shot. I agree the Bush kid was foul just earlier on his layup, but no foul on the last shot.
  12. There was no foul on that block. He got it after it left his hands. Euton is a very good player , but he gets no lift on his shot. It was blocked after it left his hands. If you want to say refs cost Rose Hill you are wrong. They could call a push off on Euton every time he moves with the ball. His off arm is always pushing the defender away.
  13. Wednesday's lineup: 2pm - Greenup v Lawrence 4pm - Rowan v Breathitt 6pm - Fairview v Elliott 8pm - Raceland v Rose Hill
  14. Nope! Raceland beat Breathitt. You missed that one.
  15. Tuesday's winners: Rowan won over Rose Hill by 13. Fairview beat lawrence by 15. Elliott over Greenup by 10 and Raceland blew a 21 point lead and held on to beat Breathitt by 2.
  16. 2pm- Rose Hill v Rowan 4pm- Fairview v Lawrence 6pm- Greenup v Elliott 8pm- Raceland v Breathitt
  17. Boyd probably, but the region should be competitive this season. Ashland can beat anyone with Williams on the mound,Russell will be good if Potter heals,Greenup should be good as they only lost 2 players. East is always hard to beat.Fairview has strong hitting and good pitching with Clark, Raceland lost nobody from a team that played everyone tough. These teams should all be in it.
  18. How much did Pikeville lose ? Are they the favorites to win the 15th All A again this year.? I know they will have to come and play at the 16th this year.
