In defense of Mitch, he went hard after two legitimate candidates. One is the best in the nation. Offered him more than anyone has ever been paid to coach in college basketball. Both turned us down. I don't know if he reached out to any others, but he swung for the fences. Two high-profile rejections and I don't think Mitch can be blamed for those. I really think those are on a large group of fans who are incredibly fickle and difficult to please. Still, there most certainly had to be a better candidate than Pope.

Never won his conference. Never won his conference tournament. Never won an NCAA Tournament game. This is only because he went to UK. Only that. I hate this hire. And I hate that because I like Mark Pope. He is a good man.

I agree wholeheartedly. But I think Drew, if he's smart, will use the Kentucky offer to get more money at Baylor. I feel like that's how he's playing this.

Drew is probably using this for more money. I don't know if I would come to UK and I am a fan. Fans have made it very unattractive, in my opinion.

People are making a big deal out of nothing. This was a foul and nothing would be said if they whistled it with 6 minutes to go in the second quarter. But they whine when it's called in the closing seconds. Officials should call a foul whenever it occurs. The plea to "swallow the whistle" is stupid. Call the game however it happens, whenever it happens. This is not complicated.

Averaged 1 point per game & 2 boards per game. Played right at 10 minutes an outing.
