After last weeked at JC who do you believe will be top 4 in each weight going to state in reg 8?The reg is tougher than last year ,at least to get to state.

If schs wrestled Jchs in a dual who would win at each weight? :argue:

No Chris Espinoza Mccreary is 37-3 on the year with one loss to wells,should be a great finals match.

Have you saw the perry 189 ,wow.Has Howard,Kenester,Collins or Kilburn wrestled yet ,this will be a weight that might decide region,160 will be important also,most of the others have favorites.Howard would be favored at 130 also but 2nd is important.

At 189 has Delonge wrestled Slone yet?

When they start the semi-finals at state look around and count the region 8 guys ,then you will see how good reg 8 is individually.No dominant team. :ylsuper:

How did Alfred Collins do? What weight? How did any other of the Perry County wrestlers do? Did Dials lose any? How did the Joey Sanders vs. Runnels match at 152 go? Is Trace Stafford staying at 135? Did Murton lose any? j/k :laugh: Ashland's team looks tough this year. Ashland may have 2 or 3 region champs this year, and maybe one state champ.

Wayne beat Sheldon clark in a duel does anyone know who won at what weights?At 140 Whitley has ashot at region finals.

At 215 it will be Tanon Roe Mccreary he has only 3 losses to top 4 guys in state.He has already beaten everyone in the region easily,even Chaffin.

What does PCC line up look like?

Yes Singley ,189 reg champ last year,letcher kid , Harlow mccreary,wayne.Will be hard to make state at 160 also.Region 8 is tough this year.

Who will finish top 4 in each weight.This will be the most exciting region 8 tourny in years with wayne barely favored.

Is Adam dials going 160,so this will be a very stacked weight at region.

I had had a chance to watch ashland at bourbon,thier 130,152,160,171 all have a shot at region finals. :sssh:

McCreary and Wayne had a great dual. Wayne won 8 of the matches, McCreary 6. McCreary didn't have a 140 or a 145 which allowed Wayne to move their guys around (great coaching move) to win the dual. The duals was run extremly well. Congrats to all and good luck to these young teams.

I would say Larue by alot. Sheldon Clark will be second, followed by Union, then McCreary. Wayne lost alot of people, they are not the power house they were last year.

What are the best teams and wrestlers in region 8? My picks would be Sheldon Clark, followed closely by McCreary Central, Wayne, Johnson Central, and Ashland. They will also have several state champions this year. 103 - Sullivan, 119- Bryant, 135 - Sanders, and 140- Murton. What are your picks? :argue:
