The Packers may be just as bad. The Raiders/Packers matchup would be a triple OT game with the remainder to be played later.
Or it'd be a tie.

ok 98, I'll concede the point that the rules are bent here and there because of work... But he has to report to jail by March 1st.. Considering the Packers won't be playing much in January, that gives him at least 2 months that he isn't working. Why the big gap?
And that's not me trying to make a point, just asking a serious question.

It's not athletes, it's people with money...

Effective at the season's end.... Koren gets to spend 90 days in jail for a probation violation...

Won't see the jails bending the rules for us normal people...

Mets lookin solid so far... 2-1 with home runs from Delgado and Floyd.

I dont know what is so great about Paulus. He could have a great year this year. But he was inconsistent last year and hurt Duke at times. I understand he was only a freshman, but not putting him in the top 20 is not that far-fetched.
I just don't think that there's 20 PGs in the country better than him... Again, that's not the only fluke I see with his list, but that was the most noticeable IMO.
But this thread is about Lofton and the SG list, and I apologize for getting off topic.
-
Didn't take time to read the list, but from reading your post, I assume he didn't include Paulus.....If he's doing a top 10 list, no way should Paulus be included.....He didn't impress me much last season.
Take a look at the list... He's not on the top 10 or the top 20... Shakur is at 17... It's a list with a lot of BOLD predictions.
I find it hard to believe that there are 20 PGs in the country better than Paulus though.
-
Actually, looking at his PG list... I'm not sure about his credibility... Paulus is nowhere to be seen.
-
Well... After looking at that list, C-Lo has a very good case for it.

Where'd Christian Laettner get the money to buy a team? I KNOW he couldn't possibly have made that much in his NBA career... He was never very good, anyways.
Must have a good bank, a nice loan, and a mighty fine interest rate.

I just saw it on ESPN... Brutal.

Never thought I'd see the day people were upset because the UK football team didn't win by enough....... Your favorite team is over .500... Enjoy it for a second and try to stop being so critical.
-
Yes, I believe they do.
As for 5wide's comments, I don't think the Seahawks receivers are anything to slouch about.. Bobby Engram went from being the #2 option for Hasselbeck last year... to #4 this year. Bobby's not a #1 receiver by any means, but he's not bad at all. Knowing that he isn't one of the top 3 on the team makes me excited about watching them play together.
-
Hey, take a chance on him... As many scholarships as they have to spare, they can use one on a project.
-
I personally can't see it...
While a great player, he's never been a household name, like most other HOFers.
Maybe he'll sneak in after a few years, but absolutely not 1st or even 2nd ballot IMO.

Johnson's been talking a little smack....
“You tell 37 (Rodney Harrison) that I’m going to knock his helmet off,” Johnson said. “You tell Asante (Samuel) to make sure he has help for all four quarters or his 22 is going to be a 55. Isn’t that what it looks like upside down?
“Wait a minute, I’m not finished,” he said. “You tell Junior (Seau) that when I’m done with him . . . never mind, I’m not going to pick on Junior. That’s not a good one. I could get hurt there.

Rasheed Wallace is high on my list.

Who? Kiel? If so, HB20 posted one yesterday that got noo replies.

ESPN reporting that he'll be out Sunday, and take this week and next week (bye) off, and be back for the Rams most likely.

The funny thing is they didn't loop anything for this one. From around 10 am to 7 pm it was all TO and all live. Gotta love when something goes on with TO...
Well, it's the top story... Personally, I haven't been home.. I had to drive up to Columbus (what a horrible place to drive around, btw) and I missed most of the circus... But he's one of the most famous players in the NFL so of course a SPORTS channel is going to drop everything to talk about what's going on.
I'm sure the ESPN treatment would've been close to (if not exactly) the same treatment for basically any other player on TO's level that this happened to, but with half the complaints.

7/11 announced they're dropping CITGO when the contract expires at the end of the month... But they say it has nothing to do with the comments.

Just to let my entire feelings out on the situation...
We'll probably never know the entire truth, and that's not always a bad thing. We already know more about these people's lives than we should even care about. If he tried suicide, then I hope he can get the help he needs... If it was an accident... hey, it happens. If it was a publicity stunt (and I refuse to believe that he would ever try something so low) than he lost the little respect I had for him.
If you watch a 24 hour sports news channel, you're going to get 24 hours of the main sports stories. Even CNN loops things...
-
Lots of hatred towards TO in this thread, it appears... Not dislike... hatred.

The newest word is that his foot might not be broken, and he may even be able to play Sunday.
