You call the NBA basketball? Well they are supposed to start calling palming the ball this year that will be a start if they do.:ylsuper:
Yes, I do... And I call the players the best in the world.
-
I'm pumped... I've been needing a basketball fix.
-
So is Big Ben better than Peyton since he's won a Superbowl. Winning a Superbowl requires 22 guys. I'm not sure I would use that stat to put him over the top. Marino IMO has to be probably top 3 all time even without the Superbowl win.
Right... BUT Manning is doing his best Marino impression... So if Marino is top 3, and Peyton wins a Super Bowl... He'd have to be higher... therefore 1 or 2. I'd be more inclined to say 1, wouldn't you?
-
I'm sure it evens out, because I'm sure the games are extremely high scoring.
-
I'll always find it hard to consider him the best, though... Come on guys... He looks WAYYYYYYYY too much like Sloth from the Goonies!
-
Please tell me that's a joke.
If not, we'll need to rethink this dumbing down America thing.
-
So should the local news not cover sports related stories either? Is that too playing a part in dumbing down America? Maybe ESPN should be the absolute only channel to ever do a sports related story... That'd certainly help.
If I want to watch what you believe 60 Minutes should be, C-Span's a good watch.
-
Not yet. Still talking about Oakland...
 Sad, but true.
-
It's hard to make an argument for him as the hands down best ever when he wasn't won a Super Bowl.
As far as his vision and composure goes, though, he's definitely extremely high on the list... And if/when he wins the big game, it'll be a lot easier to call him #1.
-
Take him out... Seriously...
Bench him for the rest of the season, his head isn't in the game... It's for his own protection.

I thought I just read that Texas is 4? No?
Texas is at the 7 spot.
Top 10:
1- Ohio State
2- Michigan
3- WV
4- Florida
5- Louisville
6- Auburn
7- Texas
8- USC
9- Notre Dame
10- Cal
-
WV is 3 in the BCS... Florida is 4, UL is 5.
-
Crumpler's been a beast the last couple of weeks.
-
No Jim...Couldn't do that but we have the Ten Commandments and prayer in schools.
Overturning the Supreme Court, are we?
-
He was one of my fantasy backs last season... Got me some good points from time to time.
Didn't always like his running style though... Too straight up and down... Or am I thinking of TJ Duckett?
-
I don't think i quoted you.........
So what I said had nothing to do with what you said. :irked:
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that I might of jumped to a conclusion... Again, I've been extremely busy since Saturday and have barely slept.
BUT it just looked kind of funny the way that it was posted after what I said, and it somewhat applied.
Again, I apologize.
-
Only because their stadium is bigger. But I think that's what you're saying. :thumb:
Exactly...
Hence the reason I quoted you in the first place... The comparison isn't really fair because Kentucky has a bad team and doesn't fill the stadium, and Louisville has a good team and fills a smaller stadium.
I've gotten 3 hours of sleep since Saturday night, and I'm not going to get much more tonight. Bare with me.
-
I have faith that UL could fill an 80k stadium on a regular basis...JMO though.
I do too... That's what I'm saying. Asking if UK can fill Commonwealth is a moot point because... i don't know if you noticed this or not... But I've been doing some research and... They aren't very good.
But the fact that UK is extremely bad and still gets more attendance than UL... It's not a choice to expand, it's a necessity.
-
And with that 62k, is Commonwealth full? I know I watched a couple games where the upper corners of the stadium were empty...PJCS is packed every week...
I'm failing to see this as a fair argument... If UK had a team as good as UL, they'd have no problem filling Commonwealth every week. People go to see good teams play, it's a well known fact.
On the flip side, Papa John's doesn't have as many seats (right now) and UL is a good team... So it's not really that hard to fill all the seats.
-
If he choses to play else where.........
Fire Tubby.
I'm pretty sure I didn't say that. If I did, though, I'd be more than happy to let you point it out to me.
If Tubby loses Lucas, he probably loses Patterson...And then all of a sudden this recruiting class takes a big drop. Is that true or is it untrue?
Would I advocate firing Tubby? Nah... But he wouldn't go up on my list either.
-
Lofa Tatupu was always better anyways.
-
This would certainly be disheartening to lose him. All signs have pointed for a while that he is UK's to lose... So if something happens and he jumps ship... I'd begin to vent some frustration about the lack of sealing the deal.
Not a ton of frustration, mind you... I have to hold some of that in.
-
Looks good.
-
Still, he might as well of handed it to Robbins... Jones had no chance of getting that ball.
Which one will get more viewers in Kentucky.....
in College Football

I'll be watching my computer screen at work... Checking in on UL/WVU on lunches and breaks... And recording the UK game to watch when I get home.
I'd record UL/WVU but aside from knowing the final score and winner and loser, there's not really a lot I need to know about that one. It's a lot easier for me to sit down and watch a taped basketball game than a taped football game.
