Yeah I would agree that sending the family there doesn't make much sense to me at all, regardless of how you're leaning. What are they going to learn in a couple hours that would help them make the decision? One angle I thought of... Perhaps he sent them so that if he does turn it down, which is unlikely IMO, he can say "This was a family decision" so he doesn't make Mitch look bad.

Caitlin Clark is the sole reason for those numbers. There's nothing the NCAA or ESPN/Disney can do to replicate them without CC coming back. Will the numbers trend up? I'm sure they will a bit, but CC is a generational player. When she's gone, so will be the numbers.

I'm not saying it's not going to happen, but that account is about the worst possible one to get your information from. He has consistently thrown out information that's not really a scoop, and when he's been more specific and wrong, he either deletes the tweet or just uses the "things changed." I mean with that specific tweet... Why would someone who is supposedly helping set up the press conference know when Drew is meeting with his team? Notice the several degrees of separation? That's his usual tactic.

I'm glad to finally see someone else with this mindset. There was a faction of the Louisville fan base that wanted Will Wade and I was adamantly against it. It's completely irrelevant that what they did is legal now. They knew the rules, willingly broke them, and didn't even have anything to show for it. It's a hard no.

100%. Will that equate to wins? Who knows... But we needed a jolt of energy, someone that AT LEAST acted like they cared that they were the head coach at Louisville. So far, in that regard, Kelsey has been a grand slam hire.
