Got ours yesterday as well.

Myron "Duce" Ralls from Montgomery County scored his 1,000th point Friday night against Harrison Co. It came during a 30 point performance for Duce.

Should be coming out soon, but officials for this one are Mike Roberts, Ron Groover and Lee Cassell. Three guys that will go deep into the NCAA Tournament.

Will be interesting to see if the refs let Williams run over people on the way to the basket and draw fouls as they have practically every other game the vols have played.

Officials will become public tomorrow morning, but the crew that is working is very good.

Course conditions, people, events, and value.

The course is great. Zoysia fairways, great greens. Very fair test of golf.

They actually had a deal (it ended in December) where if you live in a non-bordering county your initiation fee was $3000 and your monthly payment was $190/month. That's what we did.

Their event calendar for 2018 was full of things for every walk of life. Lots of family events, which is what we were looking for.

What is the membership like at Greenbrier? I’ve heard good things.

As far as what?

I know the golf course is great. We've also heard great things about their kids activities (swim team, camps, etc.) and their social events. While we live 25 minutes away, I think it'll be a nice change of scenery for us.

Excited for the 2019 season.

My potential first round of the year will be at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island. I'm playing there in mid-March.

I'm also excited to be a new member at Greenbrier CC in Lexington. Hopefully I'll get my money's worth.

What's the ruling if the flag traps the ball above the cup?

You simply move the flagstick until the ball is beneath the cut of the cup.

Actually this is not a new rule. Up until the mid 1960's you could putt with the flagstick in.

I know that they've been in the discussion. Who would you rank them above on this list?

She also got her hands on some Yamazaki 25 year old Japanese whiskey. Google that one.

Ventured down to Makers Mark today to buy some bottles from my ambassador barrell that matured. Sons and I went on the Legacy tour. It was given by Bill Samuels himself. He spent over 3 hours talking to our group on history of the family, of the bourbon industry, their competitors and friends, Ky history, and even the civil war! What a learning experience it was. Having Bill lead us and discuss the samples was a real delight as well. I have been on a couple of their other tours before, but I highly recommend the legacy one. We were a little nervous as it was scheduled for two hours, and the check in guy told us it could be anywhere from 1.5 to 3.5 depending on how much Bill talked. It was well worth the three hours and 20 minutes.

Frankfort loss to North oldham was during the end of football season. All star football games kept a few play from playing that game, but I think Frankfort will have plenty of chances to prove their rank.

Agree 100%. Very nice team.

Game 1 of the Rec Bowl will be South Laurel vs. Boyd Co.

Game 2 will be Montgomery Co. vs. Powell Co.

Here's to bringing the Rec Bowl back to what it use to be (with a few upgrades).
