The KHSAA isn't planning on eliminating those schools from competing in a state championship game but rather they're thinking about possibly doing what the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association is currently doing. The TSSAA has 5 classes in Division 1 for those schools that do not offer financial aid (that does include some private schools) AND there are 3 classes in the Division 2 for those schools that do offer financial aid to their students (this icludes some public high schools). By saying that the KHSAA is eliminating private schools from playing ion a state championship is INCORRECT......but it should be restated that they're going to give them their OWN class or division as it is in Tennessee. At least that's the impression that I am getting.

Look I don't know what went on in that particular occurance so I am not going to comment about it. I never said that the seating at Putnam Stadium was bad BUT I did say that the PRESSBOX wasn't good. I used to do the stats for the local radio station back in Rockcastle County and our experience in the pressbox was not good. I never meant for you folks to take it that I thought the whole place was the same way. In all actuality I LOVED the design and mystique that Putnam Stadium has. The horseshoe shaped seating areas were as cool as they come. I would just like to restate myself by saying that the seating area is a bad place to watch they game but the pressbox is. I apologize to anyone that took it that way.

As far as watching a game, Ashland's Putnam Field was a HORRIBLE experience for me. NOt because Rockcastle County lost the game but because the pressbox was PATHETIC!!!! The field wasnt in that good of a shape but it was really late in the year and not many look good at that time of year. I would LOVE to go to an earlier season game there so I can get a real feel for what the field looks like in good condition.

NCF I wouldnt mind taping as many NKY games for you as possible. I am going to go ahead and PM you my address so you can mail me some tapes. I know that I have promised you this before but I am now able to finally live up to my word.
