People, you are cracking me up. It's unbelievable what all you've "heard". When you hear on radio or tv, or read it on an internet message board or blog, it's nothing more than speculation. There are only a very small handful of people who are in the know on this, and all of them are professsional enough to keep their mouth shut.

I know it's fun to speculate, but their are a few on here who are acting as if they have "inside" information, and it's simply not the case.

Just curious as to what you are basing this comment on? Have you spoken with him personally about it?

DK and Maggard are now backing what I heard that Gillispie didn't ask out three weeks ago, but was not happy with the way things were planned and the way the contract looked; said he wouldn't be back if things weren't changed.

Semantics...Easy to say you're being forced out to put the blame on UK. He's QUITTING. It may be because he didn't like some parts of his job that were in his contract, but people, he quit. I was told 2 weeks ago he was quitting, and I guarantee my source was more "in the know" than any other source possible! (except Gillispie himself)

You need to quit reading anything written by the person that wrote the bolded part, very uninformed. He's 6-4, period. I've got a couple friends that I know are 6-3, and he was definately taller than then.

I got to talk with Konner tonight, he is very excited about playing at UK. His ultimate choice was between OK State and UK, but had offers from Marquette and Cal as well. I can assure you he is a legit 6-4. Coach Gillispie told him to expect to play both guard positions. He also told Konner he would be coaching UK next season. Konner is a great kid from a great family. I've know n them for 10-12 years. Let's give him a chance to play before pre-judging him.

I think when Corbin's Josh Smith hurt his ankle towards the end of the first half it killed Corbin. With Smith on a bad ankle, Corbin played a lot of zone in the second half, and Eastern killed them on the offensive glass.

Just read on TCP that Konner has committed. Take it for what it's worth.
