I think they have the potential to repeat, but like last season, to do so, everything must fall in place.
Who are the "All Star" players that SL picked up?

No doubt Burke is a good QB, but I believe that Johnson was the state's best player this season. Sounds like sour grapes to me.

If SL's O-Line can keep their young QB protected, I think they might be able to hang around with HC, and possibly pull off the upset. If they can't, it might be a long night for them.
On another note, I watched SL beat Lafayette last Friday night, and was impressed with the play of SL's young RB, Cody Quinn. He appeared to hit the hole hard, and looked fairly quick. Look for him to be a force for SL in the future. I wonder where he was earlier in the season, I don't remember him playing much offense early on.
Good Luck to the Cards. Pull off the upset!

The Coaches/people from Class A Schools that I know LOVE the All A, and the Sweet 16 as it currently is held. I'm not for changing ANYTHING with basketball, I think it is as billed: "The Greatest Show in Hoops".
Pretty ironic that Somerset is behind trying to kick the privates out of the KHSAA. As I'm told, Somerset was VERY instrumental in kicking out the Laurel County Schools from the 12th Region. Pretty picky on who they will and won't play, imo.

I guess this is why some regions "trade" officials. I don't think that there is anything to this, but obviously one person does.

I'm sorry, but I find that comment downright laughable.
For the record...SL kept their starters in the entire game agianst NL, they called off the dogs in the 3rd against Corbin.
Corbin will struggle against better (or quicker) competition until they get better guard play.
