The chances of getting one of the SEC's better spots went down today when LSU beat UT. If UT could have won out they were going to the BCS IMO. Now they fall into one of the SEC bowls. Looks like the only BCS representative now will be Florida/Auburn winner. I don't think Arkansas will win the West. Still are @ South Carolina tonight, UT and LSU @ home, while having to win 2/3. That leaves the loser of Florida/Auburn, UT, LSU, Arkansas, and South Carolina def. in front of the Cats. Consider Georgia and Alabama and they will more than likely be in front of the Cats in bowl order. Cats need to beat Vandy bad to impress some bowl representatives.
Hurstbourne just went through a renovation. It is absolutely amazing. Only two bad holes they had are fixed.
Open qualifiers usually aren't announced until early spring.
I would have to assume that the "A" crew is going to watch the defending Super Bowl champions try to defend their home turf against the Broncos. Also, don't forget that game is also at 4:15 which they count on having a bigger rating.
You are correct. A lot of very nice private courses in Louisville. The best public one I can think of is Quail Chase, or maybe Nevel Meade although its not officially in Louisville. Maybe someone else could think of some more, Seneca isn't bad either.
Turnovers always seem to decide BIG games and it did it once again. Congrats to the Cards. :thumb:
Now, they could sure use some UK wins down the stretch...
Plenty. Lake Forest, Audubon, Persimmon Ridge, Big Spring, Oxmoor, Hurstbourne, Louisville CC, Harmony Landing, Hunting Creek, Polo Fields, Wildwood CC, etc. etc. etc.
The UK athletics web site doesn't say either exh. game is on delayed TV, but it mentions some other games being showed on delay? Does anybody know for sure if the exh. Thursday is on live or delay?
I believe the Open is in Louisville for the next 3 years since Lexington had it the past 3 years, starting with Hurstbourne next year. No clue on the State Am.
Have you seen Jacksonville's schedule? Personally I think they're in the driver seat. If you disagree go ahead but you can't say they don't have a MUCH greater chance than the Who Dey.
