  1. The Patriot Act was abused by its users. The Flag@Whitehouse.gov crap will be even worst in that I believe that its sole purpose is to create a list of opposition to Obama's plans.
  2. "Because the truth is, some of what Oprah promotes isn't good, and a lot of the advice her guests dispense on the show is just bad. The Suzanne Somers episode wasn't an oddball occurrence. This kind of thing happens again and again on Oprah. Some of the many experts who cross her stage offer interesting and useful information (props to you, Dr. Oz). Others gush nonsense. Oprah, who holds up her guests as prophets, can't seem to tell the difference. She has the power to summon the most learned authorities on any subject; who would refuse her? Instead, all too often Oprah winds up putting herself and her trusting audience in the hands of celebrity authors and pop-science artists pitching wonder cures and miracle treatments that are questionable or flat-out wrong, and sometimes dangerous.Because the truth is, some of what Oprah promotes isn't good, and a lot of the advice her guests dispense on the show is just bad. 4. Sounds like he used it before every commercial.
  5. Then why are they interested in casual conversation?
  6. Oprah Winfrey is facing a staggering $1 trillion legal battle over allegations she passed another author's work off as her own. The TV titan, one of America's highest earning celebrities, is being sued by author Damon Lloyd Goffe who accuses the media mogul and her production company Harpo Inc. of plagiarising his book "A Tome of Poetry" in her Internet-published work "Pieces of my Soul." http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/hotstories/6562882.html
  7. There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov. http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/Facts-Are-Stubborn-Things/ I'm considering turning myself in. I don't want to inconvience Obama's civilian national security force.
  8. I think that dress codes are for the most part silly and detractive. My exception would be the amount of skin and/or underwear showing.
  9. Why didn't the incentive to purchase new cars come up before the government bought into the auto industry?
  10. Yeah, he was at the top of my list. BTW, I'm out till Wednesday and Godot has been good enough to make my picks for me.
  11. I'll latch onto anything to get rid of this megalomaniac.
  12. Not a conspiracy, a communist. Get it right next time.
  13. You think the Iraqis would return the favor and oust our Hussein?
  14. I heard Hank Aaron said he'd like to see Rose in the HOF.
  15. Harvard has the smartest idiots in the country.
  16. Wow that looks almost new. Oh wait! It is new!
  17. Because his family in Kenya say he was born there.
  18. Somebody needs to let Obama know he wasn't elected king.
