IMO, its not debatable. That was the best backfield to come out of EKY in at least 25 years. If anything is arguable, it would be which backfield as a whole was better, '03 (P. Howard, Childer, D. Howard & Jones) or '04 (Warren, Childers, D. Howard & Jones).

At the end of last season I would have taken Fidler over Burke, but ever so slightly. But now, seeing what Burke has done with basically three different teams, he is THE QB in the Bluegrass this year.

Fidler and Burke are in a class of their own. But Kaelin Ammons is no slouch either and probably the best athlete of the bunch.

I think he is saying that one of those two will represent the east. Its not a semi-final prediction.

Thats about what I think, too. At least I hope so. I do believe at this point Russell would be a slight favorite in the East, with Ft. Campbell a big favorite in the West.

I meant to bring my camera to the game tonight and forgot all about it. But I'll post some really soon. Watusi might already have some with the turf down by now, but it was just finished Thursday I think. Hopefully, someone will post some good pics. Not trying to be a homer, but Belfry's new stadium (field, bleachers, locker rooms, etc.) is second to none in the state of KY. IMO, it is hands down the best field in EKY. Only thing lacking is the two $20k a year press boxes that Trinity has, and the people willing to pay that much to watch a high school football game.
