  1. In many offenses, with good athletic ability, he could thrive, possibly even excel. In Trinity's offense, this would be more difficult for a shorter QB to excel.
  2. 1982 State Championship at Rupp when Paul Andrews (Laurel County) hit the winning basket from just over midcourt in the championship game as time expired! :thumb:
  3. That is an excellent point. The fans in most KY communities need to remember that these things often go in cycles. When you have good cycles, it is normally due to getting good groups of players as well as good coaching. During the bad cycles, you may still have the good coaching, but don't have the same level of talent/commitment in the groups while other teams may be having good cycles. This doesn't apply as much to larger schools in more metro areas which always have good numbers (several teams don't have as many total members of a team as many schools have in 1 class), but is more of an impact in smaller communities. I expect this coach to do a great job and continue the winning tradition, but I would hate to see the expectation be win a title or else. What BC has accomplished the past 6 years is amazing and probably will not be duplicated. I hope the fans realize that. :thumb: Good luck to the Rebels and their new coach!
  4. This was a letter that our own LES sent to Beavis and Butthead years ago for their Christmas episode. Sorry it took so long! "Dear Santa Butthead; There has been this "guy" who's been bugging me and has been hanging around my chic. If I kick his "behind", do I still get any presents for Christmas? Your Friend, Les" If you have the Beavis & Butthead collection, it is on the Christmas episode! :thumb:
  5. Sorry guys, been very busy lately. I will try to get the letter, but the way things are going, I am not sure when I will have time at home to do it. I will get the letter posted.
  6. That is my mistake. I forgot. I will see what I can do!
  7. Nope. Tues-Weds-Thurs is what is scheduled until about 530pm. Mon & Fri are weightlifting days. Call me when you get a chance. Nik is getting some interesting correspondence!
  8. I will try to get on that tonight.
  9. If I can choke back the tears long enough, I will see what I can do. I will have to edit for content, but it won't lose it's dramatic overtones!
  10. Have you tissues nearby! It is quite touching!
  11. I can see why. Your writing prose in that letter was such a masterpiece that it nearly brought me to tears.
  12. In his younger days, Les wrote a letter to 'Santa Butthead', which was featured on a Christmas episode of B & BH. Butthead read Les' letter and commented on it. It is on their Best Of DVD collection on the holiday special dvd. It was really pretty funny and gave Les his 15 minutes of national fame!
  13. Les does have a lovely wife and lovely daughter! A lot of us cannot figure out how he got so lucky!
  14. It's not the only time someone has made fun of you! :thumb: :fire: :dancingpa
  15. I have to agree with you NSR! And I wanted him in the Hall of Fame until recently.

  17. I hope that Larkey is on the staff as stated earlier. He has done a masterful job at building and maintaining a winning program at The Rock. 3 straight final four appearances and 2 straight title games are nothing to sneeze at!
