I dont really know, I was listening on radio to the Corbin station and they said there was 2.4 seconds left and started talking about the free throws and then come back and said that they were putting 4 seconds on the clock. Of course the Corbin crew said good call, but I switched to the other station and they were in disbelief. I wasnt there so I dont really know, just curious as to what happened.

I think the humbling came from the Lex Catholic trip............And Clay has yet to recover. They looked terrible against Corbin, Pineville and now Cawood and I know that each one of those teams deserve some credit for that but this Clay Co. team of late hardly resembles the one from early and midseason. Hope they can get it together soon, would make the region that much more interesting.

If Corbin throws the ball all over the place against Bell Co the way they did tonight against Clay then I would say not hardly the 2nd best. Spurlock has done a very good job at Clay this year with what he has, but they really need some size and someone to run the point consistently.

Final score. Jordan Hammonds lit the Hounds up in the first half, I think he had 23 at halftime. Corbin made a run to close to 8 in the third but Ty Proffitt and Trey Smith really stepped up to push South back out by as much as 23. Nice win at Corbin for South Laurel.

Yes, it does go on often, but you really are kidding yourself if you think it doesnt go both ways..............maybe take a little trip down to the middle school at North and and check out two of the 8th grades finest and just ask where they were playing last year. But i'd say you probably already know.
