WILDMAN Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 That's the score I got. What has happened to the Tigers? It seems like they were humbled a bit when they came to Corbin and from there it's been a downward spiral and a fast one at that. Hopefully the Tigers can pull things together because I'd hate to see a Region tournament without the Tigers.
supertrooper Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 well I think it actually started at the Lexington Catholic game..I dont know what is wrong with the TIgers, but they have got to figure the problem out and fix it! Yeah Clay Co Fans would be really upset if their Tigers did not even make it to the regional tournment...
hoops22 Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I think the humbling came from the Lex Catholic trip............And Clay has yet to recover. They looked terrible against Corbin, Pineville and now Cawood and I know that each one of those teams deserve some credit for that but this Clay Co. team of late hardly resembles the one from early and midseason. Hope they can get it together soon, would make the region that much more interesting.
The Breeze Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 The wheels haven't fell off yet, but they are sure getting loose for the Tigers.
WILDMAN Posted February 23, 2007 Author Posted February 23, 2007 I wasn't aware of the Lex Cath game but realistically, that was one of those games you couldnt really be surprised with. I actually thought they had a shot at Corbin, Pineville, and Cawood. Like yall said, the wheels ain't fell off yet but the Tigers have lost a few lug nuts along the way.
Allupinya Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Who does Clay play in the district? What is the rest of the district games look like?
supertrooper Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 If the Clay was playing like they were a month or so ago, they would have had more than a chance against Pineville and Cawood, and would have played right with Corbin....
The Breeze Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Why are they not playing the way they were a month or so ago? Hope they can get back to that level by next week.
nomorenoles Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 Where's Richie when you need him? Clay usually rolls at this time of year.
rudedogky Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 Cawood is also a pretty tough place to play though.
SKINPIG Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 That's the score I got. What has happened to the Tigers? It seems like they were humbled a bit when they came to Corbin and from there it's been a downward spiral and a fast one at that. Hopefully the Tigers can pull things together because I'd hate to see a Region tournament without the Tigers. As much as Corbin would love to take responsibility for "humbling" the Tigers, believe me, that ain't it!
supertrooper Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 no somethings going on with the tigers, I dont know if its a problem between the players or a coaching problem..who knows..but I as a Tiger fan wish they would fix it ...
