cshs81
As I said in another thread, Ryle's lack of offense is going to hurt them. Scott County 1 Ryle 0 Ryle will have to come out of the loser's bracket to repeat.

Jim Schue
North Laurel advances to Saturday mornings Semi-final with a 1-0 win over Mercy. Sears pitches a no-hitter for North. Sears faced the minimum 21 batters. The only baserunner for Mercy got on by way of an error, but was picked off right afterward in a bang-bang 2-3-6 play. Jim Schue
Here's how it sets up: Winner's bracket (both @ 9 a.m.) North Laurel v. Greenwood Oldham Co. v. Scott Co. (this is a pretty big surprise, IMO) Loser's bracket (Both @ 10:30 a.m.) Ryle v. Christian Co. Butler v. Mercy
cshs81
Actually, defense is what cost them the most in this one ... 4 hits would require no errors.
MountainThunder
Greenwood 2 North Laurel 1. North had a 1-0 lead, then 3 consecutive walks loaded the bases for Greenwood, who drove in the 2 runs to take the lead and the win, sending NL to the losers bracket. Greenwood plays Scott Co in the finals of the winners bracket North Laurel plays the winner of one of the games going on right now, but cannot remember who. I think the finals will be Greenwood and North Laurel, but I am a homer!

MountainThunder
Ryle leading Christian County 5-0 in the 4th. The winner of this game is who North Laurel plays in the losers bracket. I think Butler and Mercy were playing on the other side of the losers bracket if I am not mistaken.
