Sears faced the minimum 21 batters. The only baserunner for Mercy got on by way of an error, but was picked off right afterward in a bang-bang 2-3-6 play.

Here's how it sets up:

 

Winner's bracket (both @ 9 a.m.)

North Laurel v. Greenwood

Oldham Co. v. Scott Co. (this is a pretty big surprise, IMO)

 

Loser's bracket (Both @ 10:30 a.m.)

Greenwood 2 North Laurel 1. North had a 1-0 lead, then 3 consecutive walks loaded the bases for Greenwood, who drove in the 2 runs to take the lead and the win, sending NL to the losers bracket.

North Laurel plays the winner of one of the games going on right now, but cannot remember who. I think the finals will be Greenwood and North Laurel, but I am a homer!

The winner of this game is who North Laurel plays in the losers bracket. I think Butler and Mercy were playing on the other side of the losers bracket if I am not mistaken.
