Would the players playing in these games help them in life? I don't think so.. Could lots of been learned from missing these games? I would think so. My final thoughts on this....And I say again...Can't walk in the High school graduation BUT can play a game...IMO not a very good message sent to the future students of Somerset or the students involved. In 20 years at their class reunion they will be heard saying "What were they thinking, letting us play". :fight:

Pulaski wins it's first ever District Softball Title in the newly formed 47th district. They beat Rockcastle County 12-6 tonight after beating Somerset 2-0 last night. Congrats Ladies!! :fight:

Coach Smith has a tendency to leave when the heat is turned up. I wont' believe he left over money. NOBODY I knows coaches for money. There just isn't any real money in it. Ya gotta have a good day job to survive. Coaching is for the love of the game. Back to Coach Smith, I have seen him ref, then be an assistant at Pulaski, then head coach at Southwestern then leave there and then later go to North. While at Pulaski he watched as parents rode his boss out of coaching. While at Southwestern there was a storm brewing and he jumped at first chance. I just think he learned early that the admins will always side with parents. I will always thank Coach Smith for the things he taught the girls while at Pulaski. Good coach, GREAT guy. North let a good one get away. :fight:

I know Somerset played at the local reebok team camp the last 2 years and I thought they went Boyle at least 1 of the 2. Wouldnt you call those team camps. :fight:

No matter what happens off the field, Somerset always has, and looks like always will, find a way to keep their athletes on the field. IMO they are sending a very wrong, strong, message. :fight:

Somerset almost had them the first time this year. When you play someone 2-3 times each year it's bound to happen sooner or later. Assistant Coach Dorsey does a great job with the program at Somerset and has helped them tremendously. :fight:

I find it hard to believe that Sears didn't know they were hurt. And don't ya think that there has been a on going push from the new coach,for himself, since before Mason left. I think a lot of fuel was put on the fire, from different places. Most of the problems started from the year before. :fight:
