When you consider that Tandy doesn’t actually speak to any coaches and will only contact via text, that leaves the dad as the primary point of contact in the recruitment. It was a bit overblown, but it wasn’t going to work with Tandy and UK from that point forward...

After talking to some national insiders, I wouldn't be so sure of that. Apparently Wiseman and Jefferies are not close and playing together isn't exactly at the top of their priority list. The situation at Memphis is going to be such an interesting case study...

I loathe comparing players. Not to say you are totally off base, but I've always found it unfair because each kid has their own skill set that makes them different. As I have said, I think Allen has the skill set of a high major player, but I worry about his athleticism and where he fits on the defensive end...

Here is one key thing to remember. In either 2020 or 2021 it is HIGHLY likely the one and done is going away. Duke and UK are going to have to start stacking some veterans to prepare or it will take 2-3 years to adjust on the fly. 2019 is the class you start that process...

He has definitely stepped up the competition level and proven he can be a high major scorer. I still have some concerns about his overall athleticism and if he can guard at the highest level, but there is no doubt he is going to get the chance to prove himself there with his play this spring/summer...

I think Allen is likely a rotation guy at the highest level. He isn't a plus athlete, and it is going to take him some time to adjust to the physicality required. That's why I said I felt somewhere like Dayton would be a great fit. The A10 isn't as much of a night in and night out grind that could limit his effectiveness early in his career. Tandy is a high major bucket getter from day 1, but he has a lot to work on if he really wants to be a lead guard. He's not a natural distributor, but he does have the toughness and physicality to his game that translates early...

From what I have seen to date, that's where I lean...

Style of play matches what Anthony Grant likes to do, and I think he would fare well in the A10 from an early stage in his career...

I think Dayton would be a solid fit...

My guess is he eventually ends up at TE/OT/DE but he will get a shot at QB when he gets to campus. Gino Guidugli was the lead recruiter and is really high on the kid...
