Woodford by 21+ to close the season.

Kids a beast. I actually didn’t think SC played him that bad, he’s just that good. McKee in his time definitely could have. Not sure if you’ve ever seen McKee, he’s bigger than Lorenzen!

Their kicker can definitely make that field goal. They called a one route play and were hoping if it fell incomplete they’d get 2-3 seconds left to decide where to go next. Issue came when there was 3 men defending Emongo and it was now throw it, or run out of time. Ellison next season maybe has the knowledge to throw it to the dirt there.

They lost by 7 to Woodford and would have won had they had 30 more seconds, and lost to Highlands by 14 in a game that they could have won if they put the ball in the right players hands. Why would I believe this team can’t beat the other top 5A teams? Everyone seems to think Woodford is the best in 5A yet they lost by two yards. Give Emongo the ball and you can beat anyone in November/December simple as that.

They lost their kicker who was also their punter to graduation. I believe their kicker/punter is pretty young. As you can see they aren’t even trying to kick it deep on kickoffs. The kicker doesn’t have a running start he just put his leg into the ball from a standing position. In the Cooper game they’ll try an onside at some point during the game. May as well.

Scott County effectively lost the game because McKee called a bad second half. He’d be the first to say he did. Emongo touched the ball I believe once maybe twice after the first half. He got too cute with the play calling. Highlands made adjustments yet he called the second half identical to the first half. Nothing to really worry about, I believe this team will be playing at Kroger field still. Go Cards!

They have some pretty interesting plays out of spread they practice, the roll out throw isn’t one of them in my personal opinion. Scott County will lose to Highlands for the first time in 6 contests barring a miracle.

I get the final score is meaningless, but you got to give Emongo the ball. He’s touched it once this half I believe. Scott County will be out of spread this play it seems. Interesting.

Defense has been too vanilla for some time now. We rarely adjust and wonder why they can run the same play over and over. Offense will need to score, kick the onside, score, kick another onside, and score again. let's see how it goes

JuJu Harmon is down for Scott County. Not sure what the injury is but losing him in the secondary would be a disaster if it’s something serious.

Regardless of final score, Scott County is showing that Cooper is no guarantee to knock them out this time around!
