I was actually at the game seeing it in real time. Kid dipped his shoulder and ran him over. Truth be told Lex Cath had guys all night extending arms out and dipping their shoulders when driving all night just timing of the call was ugly. This didn’t cost them the game. What cost them the game was having a 6’9-6’10 D-1 center who was having his way inside Pretty much whole first half when he would get it to lead by as many as 8 and barely giving him the ball in the 2nd half against a team whose tallest player maybe 6’2 on a good day

Amazing what some coaches can accomplish when they finally get some talent playing for them.

Depends on which Woodford comes to play. If they play as a team don’t see many people beating them if it’s everyone for themselves Collins will be heading to Rupp.

Still tough to beat a team 3x in a row.

Difference in the game Douglas out rebounding Catholic even with less size and had less turnovers.

This was a good game. Catholic should’ve kept feeding Potter. Douglas never gave up and took first lead late in the 4th. Melo Boone with 2 big time 3s to give Douglas first lead of the game and the Game winner with 11 seconds left. Impressive win.

Crossing went too many possessions without Dawson or Moreno even getting a touch in a row. This time of year knowing and being a star in your role will make or break teams.

Whole Eastern starting 5 went D-1 and they still didn’t win it all that year.

Who all is returning for WC this year? I can’t imagine Jasper Johnson playing anymore and that senior class did well over the years. Losing the RB and Nelson will be huge.

Back when we’d get a Kentucky kid or two at UK and really let them play. I’m a UK fan but I always got love and respect UofL for getting Louisville kids to stay home and giving them a chance. Playing for your State or City means so much more.

Definitely forgot man. That’s big time career after high school and not many times brought up!

All good fun lol. This was definitely some good battles from 05-11. Even FC worse year with Coach Stepp still was a good game.

What does housing market have to do with anything when kids are going there regardless where they live. It’s all about tradition of playing for previous family members why kids go there regardless of where they live. Kids live right beside FC and will go to Frankfort High just to play with their cousins.

A lot teams are scared to take on the gauntlet schedule FC has taken these last few years unless you’re a Louisville school.

Gentrification has nothing to do with that. If you really knew what you was talking about you’d know Frankfort High has almost half its roster lives on the Eastside each year and I’m going off since 2000. Even most the students at Frankfort live out of district.

Western Hills has 2 physical big guys I can picture make a big difference in the game.

Going off what happen when they did play. The talent at Frankfort high was up there able to play with County. Them were good games. Talent has shifted all way to the East side

Hate seeing FC not playing Woodford this year because of the rivalry it is. I’d like to know what Woodford brings back because FC is still loaded with a lot young guys who played this year. Game to watch for is GRC vs Franklin County end the year. GRCs RB Kalen Washington is a Frankfort baby and will be playing against the Juniors he won a 8th grade Middle School Championship with at Elkhorn Middle.

Since 2014 Frankfort High hasn’t had the talent come through to play FC. Bad enough was out number but once the talent went away them games got super ugly quick. Sad and hate see that game go away because everyone grows up playing each other since kids and makes a fun rivalry. Had some great games from 04-12.

Taking Woodford be because of Johnson. But Depends on which Woodford County team shows up. If it’s the wild out of control, throwing up any kind of shot, and guys trying to do too much WC I see Collins stalling this game out and winning.

To think Bud got in trouble 15 years ago and could’ve been the better pro out all these guys. Miller went to an Elite 8, Final 4, and a big time contributor on easily one the greatest CB teams of all time Shelvin going back to back NCAA national championship runner up at a mid major as starting PG. Scotty being ALL-SEC few years too. Easily could’ve been 4 NBA players from class of 2008.
