  1. The best part of this Cowboy's game is getting to listen to Greg Olson. I think he is by far the best color guy on NFL games.
  2. He's going to get fired at halftime.
  3. You are probably right. There are a lot of defensive stats that support the Patriots' defenses under Belichick were far superior to the rest of the league. If we had to assign credit, I'm going 70/30 in favor of Brady.
  4. This administration picked this coach, they didn't pick Coach Young. District level and school level admin are very realistic about how competitive Garrard should be. McRay will have a very long leash as long as families are happy and the team is not getting embarrassed on the court, which seems to be the case.
  5. Brady leaves and immediately wins a SB with the Bucs. Brady leaves and the Pats basically become irrelevant. You'll never convince me that those two things are not directly related. The Pats before Brady were an afterthought organization, his arrival leads to 6 Super Bowl wins. Tom Brady could have went to any inept organization of the 2000's (Bengals, Jets, Lions) and won because he was the GOAT. Jerod Mayo only won Super Bowls because of Brady, not the famed Patriot Way.
  6. I think the Patriot Culture is a lot of people taking a some credit for Tom Brady's greatness. If Mayo can win then maybe there is something to that, but I'm skeptical.
  7. I think the theory is that Bill the GM and Bill the Coach are a package deal. Bill the GM has not been successful for a few years now and that's the main problem.
  8. Burrow's press conference today made it sound likely Tee will be back next year with a deal and not just a franchise tag.
  9. I think my source included QBs. Mixon was fine, but his days as a top tier RB are at least two years behind him. I'm with you in wanting to see Brown more.
  10. 31st in yards per carry though.
  11. I wanted that to happen this year. As far as the contract goes, he is under contract for next year but he can still be cut with minimal financial penalty.
  12. Browns-Texans looks like a good game, that defense has been so good all year. I don't think you can really trust the Dolphins to get a win in KC even if the Chiefs have been unimpressive all year.
  13. 10 seems crazy high to me, even if they don't have Watt. I think the Bills will win, but I will be putting some money on the Steelers with that line.
  14. I think that's a great off-season plan. Personally, I'd like to see them tag and keep Tee for this year. I think our receiver corps is in a great spot with Chase, Tee, Iosivas, Irwin, and Jones. CB seems to be a potential area to target in the draft with Awuzie taking a big step back after his injury. As the case every year lately, they've got to find more stability on that O-line. Healthy Burrow and a more favorable schedule next year should see this team back near the top of SB favorites.
  15. Hendrickson is tied for the league lead in sacks. I'd like to give him a chance to grab that honor. He's among the most underrated players in the NFL and should be getting more hype for DPOY.
  16. Garrard pays 10,900. I'd guess outside of Boyle that most schools are in the 10-15 range.
  17. I've said it before and I think it's proving to be true on some level. Joe Burrow masks a lot of problems with this team and is what makes us a true contender. Pretty much everyone in the NFL world agreed that Cincy had a top 3 group of skill players and yet our offense looks inept after the first quarter in almost every game, even the ones with Burrow rarely looked great for a full 4 quarters. So how is it that our offense can have such a great collection of talent but still make everything look difficult? That goes to coaching. Imagine if McVay, Tomlin, Harbaugh, or Reid had the type of weapons that we do. All things equal, I think their seasons would have been more successful than ours.
  18. The Jake Browning hot streak is definitely over. He was a flash in the pan for a few weeks and that was fun, but he's been figured out now. Browns are resting their starters next week and the Bengals have nothing to play for. Just give me something to look forward to and start McCarron.
  19. So other coaches are better? I think that's the problem, this team always seems to be out-coached.
  20. Someone please remind me why Zac Taylor is a good coach. Games like this happen all too often.
  21. These sacks are on Browning too. Not always the o-line's fault
  22. Being at the games, you can usually see Anarumo and Taylor really giving it to the officials when a call is questionable, it just doesn't seem to positively affect us.
