I was told that Spencer lost quite a bit from last season and Hart returned a ton after a yr that they had the best season in school history. From what I see Hart is getting dominated upfront.

For a team that returned almost an entire class of 5th yr seniors, Hart co does not look good. I heard the same about the scrimmage they had with Meade Co

In most yrs I would say SW without question. However, I witnessed what I consider the worst SW defense I’ve ever seen outside their first couple varsity seasons last yr. Poor effort and even worse tackling. If they haven’t gotten much much better, Boykins may have a career night. Still I think SW holds a significant advantage in Coaching and up front. I’ll take the Spartans by 10.

3 wins. Gonna be a rough yr for the Panthers. Lost a lot of seniors, Interim HC with basically an entire new staff and a brutal district.

I’ll do me. But I promise you ain’t talked to people from inside the program the last couple yrs. Players, parents of players, Asst coaches would tell you what I’m saying is the truth. Optics can be good when you’re winning but if not for a couple of assistants that program would have completely fallen apart. Players would tell you the same.

Take away yr one when he was gift wrapped a state championship team on a silver platter and he’s 13-10. Not exactly setting the world on fire. And truly the only coaching change that happened was his dad stepping down and him getting the HC spot. Dad even stuck around the first 2 yrs as an Asst. The rest of the coaching staff stayed the same. I’m not even talking about wins/losses. I’m talking about the ability to be a leader of young men and set the example. Talk to people within the program the last 3 yrs and let me know what their opinion of him is/was.

This is what happens when a HC gets hired because of who his dad was, gifted a state championship caliber team, and then doesn’t have the work ethic and motivation to build his own legacy.

I’m hearing that the team was informed tonight that Alfredo Silva will be the interim HC this season. Coach Silva joined the staff last season after several seasons with Larue Co. The team also found out that Coach Quinton Brown and Coach Tyrone Young resigned this evening. Quinton Brown has been on staff the past 13-14 yrs and has been the DC the last 3 yrs. He’s an Etown Alum. Huge loss for the program. Coach Young has been on staff 4 yrs and worked with the WRs and DBs. I believe this leaves the team with 3 coaches.

I don’t know that those coaches want their names out there so I’ll refrain from putting that out to the world. Couple current HCs from around the area and one that was the previous HC at a Rival

Not sure on a timeline. I’ve heard a few names have shown interest but not sure if they’ve actually applied.

So who will it be? You seem to be very confident in your information.

Only one coach on the staff that works in the school system.

School has stated that they want to have a new coach in place before dead period starts. Clock is ticking.

Meade got a raw deal with the redistricting. The fact that the KHSAA let Warren Central play up and put them in a district with North Hardin and Central Hardin while booting Meade out isn’t right.

Glenn left a couple yrs ago. He’s at Nelson Co. At this point I think you almost have to hire from inside due to the timing of it all. There are a couple of assistants that could probably take the spot but I would think the DC Quentin Brown would be first in line. He’s been an assistant in the program for 13 yrs and stuck through 3 HCs. He also graduated from Etown.
