Excellent points! Goes to show that this rivalry has been very competitive for a long, long time. From 2007-2015, the series was 9-7 in favor of Lexington Catholic with an average margin of victory of 9 points. Remove two outliers (a 32 point Boyle County win in 2010 and a 29 point Lexington Catholic victory in 2007) and the series was 8-6 in favor of LC with an average margin of victory of 6 points. One of these teams played in the semifinals or finals every single season. Here's hoping that the newest installation of this great game brings all of the excitement of years past.
