Agree that GRC/Montgomery Co is a big rivalry (all sports) but I have always thought GRC/Madison Central is better. Since 1997 (Rieherds Era) GRC/Madison Central have played 36 times......18 wins each.

Live-ball fouls by the opponents of the scoring team on plays where a touchdown or field goal is scored may be carried over either to the succeeding sport or the succeeding kickoff.

The only automatic first downs in the NFHS rule books are for roughing the passer, kicker/punter/holder, and snapper. The officials were correct in giving the offense 5 yards and replaying fourth down. Most football fans are used to hearing automatic first down from watching the NFL games on Sunday and thus they think any 15-yard penalty or defensive holding results in one.

I always thought the arena at the Kentucky Horse Park would be a good neutral site for the 10th or 11th region tournaments.

Couldn't agree more Colonel Mike. I watched CovCath/Male & Dorman(SC)/NLaurel game and was absolutely appalled by the announcing by former Fairdale coach Gregg Longacre and current AD Ernest Smith. Their criticizing of officials calls, mechanics, and calling officials by name was as bush league as it gets. Also, they seemed very disappointed not to get a "UK/UofL" matchup with Shepherd & Glenn and thus were pro Dorman in hopes of getting to see their "Dream Game." Will turn down the volume today.
