At half North leads 34-31 on a late three pointer. Roberts has 15 in first half. He is getting to the basket whenever he wants. Grant played a very ugly first half and is lucky to be down just 3. Their starting guard, #23, was on bench most of the half with two quick fouls for Grant. Very physical first half as well

Heard he is hopefully back for the matchup this Friday against Walton. Grant is starting to move the ball. Glad to see that happening because when they play team ball, they compete with everyone in the region.

The ball movement was very good for Grant tonight. When they move the ball they are a very good team. All of them can score. Good to see Dawalt find his shot from behind the arc tonight, that is a definite game changer for them moving forward.

For Grant to take that next step, those Freshman need to do what they can do against the better teams. The good teams that have beaten Grant this year have given them the chance to do so when concentrating on the four upper classmen. Unfortunately, Guffey has a hard time creating his own shot, but can most definitely knock down the uncontested three and Hammonds is still learning to pound inside with the much older players. In my opinion, Hammonds is going to be a really good player in the very near future. But I agree, if it starts to click and they move the ball on offense, watch out! they can all score.

I agree. They need to be hitting better for them to have a chance against teams like Beechwood.

It was a nice win for Beechwood. Grant didn't shoot their normal percentage and that paired with the length Beechwood has is not a good combination for them. Seemed there were no adjustments either on the Grant side. Overall, good win for Beechwood. They continue to make a case in the 9th region.
