Some games of interest tomorrow: Garrard @ Boyle - Can the Lions compete without Sebastian? Mercer @ East Jess - Can East keep the momentum in the 12th? Great Crossing @ Lincoln - How will the Pats respond after two straight losses? Rockcastle @ Somerset - Grundy & company should top the young Rockets.

Seems like LC is going to have to pick up the pace a little and let their athletes run some. They have the guards to run the floor with Smith, Frye and Alcorn.

So far this season there has already been some surprise losses/wins and some interesting games where teams have been competitive. I know teams will tighten up loose ends but as of now the 12th looks wide open.

Sounds like Garrard’s Defense has improved and continues to get better. Without their best player that is impressive. Sounds like district play will be competitive.

Frye is as quick of a player as I have seen. He is really good.

Good win for the Rebels. I’m becoming a fan of Will Bishop. Kid holds his own week after week vs kids 3-4 years older.

I understand the health issue, but wouldn’t it benefit the JV player development to play the game. Even if you take a whipping the experience could play dividends later in the season as depth. Just looking from a coaching perspective.

Madisonville's size & athleticism is hard to deal with.

How did the Bishop kid play? Was the game competitive or did Anderson dominate?

Wow it’s always an exciting game between these two.

That should be a dandy game to watch. If Grundy is ready to go that will make it more interesting.

Lincoln lost some good seniors last year. Seems like they have filled those spots well. It is still early to really see what these teams can become. Can’t wait to see how many football players come out for Boyle.

Friend of mine said Will Bishop is an 8th grader really held his own vs Bodner. Kid has a bright future. Possibly best 8th grader in the 12th region. Congrats to Will.

Drakeford is a good athlete. Him and Lewis are a nice combo. Mercer could get some teams attention this year.

Give credit where credits due. Reese Smith has been a stud in HS football along with his rebel teammates. Whatever the outcome I hope it’s a competitive exciting game and both teams play all out and everyone stays healthy. These kids have excellent opportunities ahead! God speed to all!

Great point Brddog everyone is still virtually untested it being really early in the season. Teams should hit their stride after 5 or 6 games and work some kinks out.
