Do you think BG’s defense can’t stop him? I don’t think he’s played against a better defense than he would see with the Purples this year. Should be interesting. I think the cold weather and the coaches game plans/play calling will have a lot to do with how these teams play. It’ll be a chess game between these 2 coaches.

Gotcha.. I heard someone say that Willingham had only thrown 5-6 passes total before he had to play that Glasgow game. Not sure if that’s accurate..

I said I didn’t see a LOT of difference. I’m not taking anything away from either QB’s. I believe Veltkamp played those entire games even in the blowouts. That definitely helps the stat book, which I like. Unfortunately, I see BG pulling their kids sometimes during the 3rd quarter. I know you have to be safe, but it definitely helps player’s stats for sure. Plus, more reps in game-like situations. What’s your thoughts on that? Should coaches let these kids play or pull them so soon?

Does anyone know if Veltkamp will be back for SW on Friday? Seems to be a hot topic for this game! Not sure there’s A lot of difference between those 2 QB’s other then the height and amount of reps the Willingham kid didn’t get over the summer. Should be an exciting, emotional game to watch! Anyone one have “Keys to winning” this game for both SW and BG?!?!

BG’s play calling has got to step up! You have to give those boys a chance to compete! They proved that they can grind with anyone. Not the players fault that the offense was dead. Those coaches MUST take responsibility! Same thing in the St.X game. Refs missed about 4 pass interference calls that could have been crucial 1st Downs!

Definitely agree that Trinity has lots of weapons. I believe BG’s coaches will have to make the right play calls and have a heck of a game plan to even give their guys a fighting chance! It’ll be a great test for these guys right before playoffs! Again, they have some strong, Determined, athletes as well! I’d rather watch 2 talented teams play rather then a blow out game any night!!

I actually believe BG has improved the last 3 games! Chemistry is different.. they seem to be playing for each other! The QB, Cooper, seems to be getting more comfortable! Going from playing every other series and usually no fourth quarter due to the score, he came in 2nd half of SW game and hasn’t looked back. I believe he had 290 passing yards in 3 quarters last Friday. Cooper seems to be the leadership factor that team needed. Lots of athletes on this BG team make it fun to watch. While realistically Trinity has the edge on BG.. I believe BG welcomes the challenge.
