Luke got into the 50 mark on Friday by winning the 400 at Anderson. He won with a 50.89. Hope his legs aren’t to tired. He ran in a meet on Thursday, Friday, and now Saturday. Will be a great race.

Perry didn’t run the open 400 and I don’t think that Cooper had a team in the 4x400. My guess is that he is still healing..... Summe looked solid with a win in the 200 and 400.

Oh no. I talked to him after a few meets after him and Summe raced. Great Kid!!! As a coach it’s hard to decide to keep a runner in a meet and practice but if it is not to bad then you want to keep them going so they don’t get behind. I am a CCH guy but wish nothing but the best for Perry and hope he is OK. As a coach I’d sit him for a few weeks which may have already happened. I don’t want ANY kid to hurt themselves. Get well Dillon.

We could see the battle begin Friday night depending on where Cooper is running at on Friday. CCH was going to run in a meet in Knoxville, TN but got canceled to to bad weather heading that way. CCH is sending the top guys to the Walton Verona meet and the rest to the Boone meet.

Talk about time to gel as a group to get the small things like handoffs and block starts down to a T and get the speed where it needs to be they should be a crew that will dominate. Good luck Lady Eagles!

I think Summe will. Works his butt off. I see him placing well at State in both 200 and 400. Perry edged him out last year and the battle between the two is great and they push each other. Can’t comment on the other two because I haven’t seen them run much last year. Good luck to all 4.

Exactly. Also, I did look it up and didn’t see any schools win all 3. I thought I may have missed it and someone else knew something that I didn’t you. I sure wasn’t being lazy...

I did. I didn’t see any that won all three but didn’t know if I missed something that someone would know off the top of their head.

I know that there have been three schools that have won the Football and Basketball State Title in the same year. Trinity 2012, Bowling Green 2017, and CCH 2018. Have there been any others to do so? Has there ever been a school win the “BIG” three with Football, Basketball, and Baseball in the same season? What is the most state titles that a school has won in a single school year with all sports combined?

Sorry. I just got lost in the thread. I agree about the thread. My 1st comment about the game... I will honestly say I was worried in Q1.. Can’t happen at Rupp with the sloppy ball handling. Let the nerves go, tighten up and play your game.

What game? CCH didn’t play Apollo did they? I didn’t see that on their schedule. You mean their Regional final? If so who did they play? Any common opponents?

Agree 100%. Two tough teams. Reminds me of the late 90’s rivalry between CCH and Highlands in Football. Hope it continues. Good luck to the Blue Colonels and keep your heads up Dixie and Cooper!

I’m a huge CCH guy. I will say that AK and his supporting staff gave CCH everything they could handle. I knew it would be low scoring b/c of how good both D’s were. Glad to see a Colonel win but just wanted to say if Cooper was in any other district they would have won 9 out of 10 times in the finals. Keep your head held high Cooper! Great season. Colonels...... Agree 100 %. All Championship games should be Saturday. Superbowl, NCAA Football and Basketball... High School as well...Just my opinion...
