Both Ludlow and Paris played and defeated Carroll County. Ludlow 56-39 and Paris 55-21. Should be good game as Paris hosts Ludlow next week. Can Paris defense contain Blackburn? Can Ludlow stop Maggard & Paris speed? Should be a great high school football game.

That’s almost as many lengths as Secretariat had over Sham in the Belmont.

I’m sure everyone noticed Beechwood was left off the list. Give the Tigers their due, they are awesome, I’ll address that later on.

Paris seems to have more depth this year and when all are healthy, 7 or 8 offensive weapons that can produce. The defense is all teamwork as they gang tackle. IMO, Paris has what it takes, ground game & passing and defense, to beat Ludlow, Raceland or Paintsville, Hazard or Pikeville. These are all good programs and all victories would be considered by many as upsets but IMO, Paris can beat these teams, might take a perfect game but can happen. Don’t you just love high School Football!

Paris was very aggressive on offense and defense. Seems like they have 6 or 7 offensive threats and plenty of depth on defense. Paris had a lot of hard hitting gang tackling hence, Bishop Brossart netted 25 yds on 27 attempts and the Mustangs passing game effectively controlled.

Paris will beat the Carroll County Panthers.

Paris was slow to get started last night but give credit to Mustangs QB as he carved Paris defense up on first drive. Paris defense shut the Mustangs down after with the exception of the long TD pass in the 2nd half. I suspect Bishop Brossart experienced more sacks, hurried up throws and punts than in any game this season. Paris defense reminded many of hard hitting of past teams. Will be interesting to see game stats. Both teams had good crowds. Good Luck to both teams rest of season.
