I seen a lot of positive signs for the young Jags last night. Stay positive and keep improving every week.

I agree it seems like too many moving parts. It seems that a player has been at one position all summer and then he's learning a new position every week. Tough to be consistent. Leaning on a freshman to run and catch the ball seems desperate. Maybe at 0 - 3 Borchers is.

Was at the game nice backfield combo with Spake and Collins running the ball. Defense did a solid against the run for Cooper!!

John Mark Schutt is a excellent player both on offense and defense. Tough kid to bring down and has a nose for the ball on defense. Fun player to watch.

I hear Armour isn't going to start at QB. It's going to be the sophomore Linder. Wonder what other changes will be made to Coopers lineup this week.

Key to this game will be can Cooper limit yards in the running game for New Cath. Kelly will a tough stop for the Jags!!

Now if they would just throw Perry the ball maybe Cooper could complete some passes.

Why is no one talking about the other cornerback from Cooper Dillon Perry he had a great game defensively with a interception and held Venneman one of the top returning wide receivers from last year to 1 catch for 10 yards. It was a one on one matchup all game.

I'll be at the Cooper/Highlands game. Should be a good one!!!

It will be a interesting matchup if Perry gets matched up with Venneman two of the fastest players in nky.

Who looked good for Conner? Who played the most at qb Hicks or Gillion? Did the running backs for Conner run well?

Coopers db's at corner are Dillon Perry junior and Roman McClaine senior and at safety it's Justin Schlarman senior and Anthony Witchey sophomore. All are solid. It's gets very young after that.

Cooper by 7. Yes Cooper is young but they are talented. Borchers will have them ready.

Mike Armour didn't quarterback as a freshman he played wide receiver. Dillon Perry and Tristen Milburn were qb when they were freshman.

Cooper had their 2nd team in against Beechwood except for the first series which they scored a touchdown. All teams had their good and bad moments which is why we play 7 on 7. Looked like all 4 teams were evenly matched.

I know Cooper is at Campbell.

I don't think Cooper will have a down year just that they are young. There is a lot of talent and speed on the squad they will put up points just not sure how they will jell on defense.

Chris Collins and Anthony Witchey should get the bulk of the carries when Schlarmann doesn't or when Schlarmann moves to slot receiver.

Yes Armour was qb. Did a very nice job for it being his first year at qb. I think Cooper will surprise some people this year. It was just a 7 v 7 but Cooper has some speed and quickness on offense.

I thought Cooper looked really good also. Lots of scoring by both teams. WR Perry and Lee from Cooper couldnt be contained. Perry also had two interceptions in their first three possessions on defense.

Not sure why anyone would think Highlands would dominate Cooper. Yes Cooper has a lot of young guys but I just came from a 7 on 7 with SK going against Cooper and they held there own and they were missing one of their best defensive players safety Schlarmem. WR Dillon Perry and Jerimah Lee dominated the SK defense.

Good luck to Nick and all the Jags!! Lots of new faces but I'm excited to see all the young guys perform.
