It might give the royals such an advantage, one so big the last time they won a regional title in that building was 2010 not only was this the last time they were in the finals in this building or anything. Plain and simple the fieldhouse is BY FAR the best location to host the 10th. If I remember correctly the Northern Kentucky schools had a haul to get to MOCO last season and you had a championship game where the 2 schools that are 20 minutes had to drive over an hour to get to the game. The fieldhouse sets in the center of the region, its the nicest and biggest gym while being extremely close to the center of the 10th. The fieldhouse should host every year IMO.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Ohmer have a triple double in the first meeting with 41 points?? Much like Crawford I don't think the royals have anyone who can match up with Ohmer, and he's surrounded by a more talented and overall better group of support. However, this ones closer than people think it will be, Royals will have a chance late to win this one.

I think you have to put him in the 7-10 range just because he doesn't have a resume compared to some of the top 6 but what he's done at Augusta in such a short time is remarkable

Directed more towards "the hate of polar bear nation" as the post stated , its hard to be jealous of a school who hasn't been relevant (other than making the regional tournament by beating a st. pat or augusta then losing in the district title game) in a decade and a half. For the past 2 seasons people on here have been drinking the Brooksville koolaid and yet they don't have a district or regional All "A" title to show for it. The talent was obviously there, where were the results?

With postseason basketball in full swing in the state of Kentucky, emotions are in full swing. From players, to fans it simply just means more to everyone this time of year. For me the 2010 Clark County vs Mason County at the legendary Fieldhouse is the best atmosphere I have ever witnessed at a high school basketball game; between the student sections, Clark County sitting on the traditional "Mason County bench", Darius Miller and DeMarcus Cousins were in the house, and the fact both teams not only had a shot to win region but also the state title that year this was one for the record books! So, you have heard my best moment, whats yours?

He had a huge role, think he finished with 5 blocks and a bunch more that he altered, the entire Royal team crashed the glass early and Dunnaway finished with 30 and 10. Lofton kept them in it early as he simply couldn't be guarded, and Fox played a heck of a game all the way through. All in all it seemed as the royals just wanted it more. .

Comes down to pitching IMO, Nick Nelson is the best pitcher in the district, bad games happen but he's the difference maker if I'm "predicting" what will happen

Alright I have 2 questions for you then: 1.) Did anyone around the 10th really respect or talk about Hinsons as one of the top coaches in the region until Augusta beat Mason Co twice? No 2.) I fully agree, coaches can have bad nights.. but he's matched up with the royals 6 straight times now since he lost Bach and is 0-6, 6 bad nights??

That same team got beat in the district championship and lost in the first round of region without Bach a year prior?? Kirk is the most overlooked coach in the 39th and possibly 10th. Gets his guys to play extremely hard.

Mason let them back into the game, being there the royals controlled the tempo the majority of the game especially in the second half. Hinson never made on adjustment to stop Dunnaway or Lofton. He was out coached for the 4th straight time against Biggs and the royals. His entire resume is built on 2 wins.

Been saying it all along , rode Bach and now Crawford this far. A great coach, with the best player on the floor should win this game 10/10 times. Hats off to the royals and coach Biggs who has proven to be one of the best postseason coaches in the 10th. On to the next one.

So now can we call it what it is? Hinson is a solid coach for smaller schools but he isn't the coach people often make him out to be.. out coached from the gun in this one

So you don't believe a team full of seniors led by Austin Crawford is the best bracken will be?? This team is the pinnacle for bracken basketball in the near future.

Hes a solid coach, although I think he is often times hyped up a lot more than warranted. They will always have better candidates for the job at mason, that being said i expect him to win the 39th tomorrow.

Thats a pretty far stretch IMO; Campbell, Scott, Paris, and GRC all are better teams than these 2.. but then again everyone remembers last year
