Congratulations to Robertson County. I loved their resolve. Had many opportunities to fold, but they kept a coming. Dice made 2 or 3 huge plays down the stretch. Dixon solid all night. Burden and Schalch had big moments. Great team win! Good luck next week at state!

Travis Strings has really stepped up for the greyhounds and filled a void left through graduation. Seems to be playing consistent basketball. Looking forward to getting to see Paris play.

Congrats to the Black Devils on their huge win. I thought they had a chance to be really good before the season started with what they had coming back from last years region team. With the addition of Dixon and Swanston they are that much better. Looking forward to getting a chance to see them play this season.

Lamont Campbell has the Colonels off to a very impressive start. They have another tough test Friday night against a Paris team who is off to an another impressive start as well. If Bourbon gets the win Friday night against their rival, there aren't many other scenarios where you could get off to a better start to a coaching career. He will have beaten a traditional 10th region powerhouse on their home floor and their rival of whom they haven't beaten in a while in the same week. Beating Paris is easier said than done though. Good Luck to both teams, should be a great atmosphere.

The dominance Paris has had over the rest of the district the last few seasons is remarkable. Especially when you take the enrollment of the other 3 schools in the district into consideration. With Bourbon coming off their big road win last night, Friday nights game between the two should have a great atmosphere.

A bit surprised by this one based on on early common opponent results, but that's high school basketball for you(especially in December). Good luck to Robertson as they look to rebound next week.
