You sound silly that's all it needs to count for at the end of the day. Give them 2k to 3k kids to choose from they have 7 blocks(Neighboorhood) and contend for a state championship every year. And LIke I said almost all the kids would start on ANY 5A-6A Team they transferred from those schools. Get your facts and your mind right before you start saying 1A is all it counts for Ryle is just now getting good so stick with the conversation. Beechwood should be higher than Ryle that's all I was saying Period.. Sheesh!!!

Not trying to convince anyone that's just the facts I hate when people cant say their Team is going to have a down year or is still riding the wave off last year. Beechwood has a long way to go. But State Champ counts for something and Ryle is having a down year its all over everywhere. So you can stay on that ship if you wanna. Beechwood at this early part if the season should be voted ahead of Ryle that's that. I am not a fan of either but watch football in Nky religiously.

Dude their not good they are State Champs with Multiple Div 1 prospects. Your problem is your going off the 1a Tag. Most of those guys easily start at any bigger school program in NKY. This is not your average 1A Team. So your logic is flawed.

This is not up for debate Ryle is having a down year and Highlands is trying to have a resurgence. No way either one of these teams should be ranked Higher than Beechwood.

Your Top 10 is off a bit. Beechwood Won State and virtually has everyone back. They also just beat the brakes off Conner in a scrimmage! They couldn't move the ball. No way they are 6 more like 3. Just saying...

Also, for what it's worth Beechwood WON the State Championship and they only have One Player on here when I see Campbell County was 4-8 (2) and Ryle will now have 4 when you add Chisolm (Should be on-No brainer). Beechwood has some game breakers and game changers. Derry (I mean he will probably be a household by EOY! McKinney lead the entire Tri-State (All classes in Int's) takes away a whole side of the field and Davis and Castleman are game breakers! There are choices.

Beechwood's entire Secondary notably Elijah McKenney will have one of the best Secondary's in KY for any class. They are getting tons of Division 1 Looks and Offers.

You left off Elijah Mckenney CB from Beechwood he led the State in Ints. Basically shutting down Hazard's 6'2 All State Wide Out. He will help lead a very Deep and Talented Defensive Team Beechwood will field. One of the States best for sure!

BW vs. Simon Kenton is a interesting matchup. Beechwood has a lot of bigger schools on their schedule but return some studs on both sides of the ball. Not to mention State Championship swagger.

I was surprised about Hendrix he made the Bluegrass All KY Team as a corner but didn't make 1st Team Corner doesn't make since. Also, surprised McKenney made 2nd Team. After tying with Hendrix for 2nd in the State in Int's with 6 and leading a what was supposed to be a Unknown Year for the Tigers. Only 3 players were selected to 1st Team lower than 6A( Wrobleski,Townsend, & Barnes). Someone definitely should have made 1st Team Offense or Defense.

I would take McKenney over Manning this year. He tied for the N.Ky and State lead with 6ints. Kid is on his own island. Kincaid, Hendrix, and Scherr round out this group!

McKenney(Beechwood) and Hendrix(Cooper) tied for the lead in N.Ky and the state lead with 6 Ints (For any Class). Kincaid should be up here as well, just think those 2 are kinda the cream of the crop in N.Ky.

Beechwood Tigers (9-1) Biggest Win: Covington Holy Cross Holy Cross has some of the best athletes in N.Ky but Beechwood used a great gameplan to expose the Indians suspect secondary. The Tigers hung on for the win 40-33. Biggest Loss: (4a) Covington Catholic Despite playing a very stellar first half against the colonels, the wheels on the bus came off and the Colonels blew the game open on a series of bad plays by the Tigers. 2 Highlights from the Season: 1). Watching Game to Game as the Tigers defense got better and better. 2). The offense has had to catch up to the defense but is well balanced. Area Of Concern: Big, Fast athletic running backs give the undersized Tigers trouble. (See Pikeville last years State Championship & Holy Cross Indians this yr.) Offensive Player: Sr. RB Aiden Justice The undersized but Speedy Justice is a dual threat and true home run hitter for the Tigers. He is able to grind out yards or take it to the house. High IQ makes him a must see player for the Tigers! Defensive Player: Jr. CB Elijah McKenney Elijah easily is one of the best DB's in N.Ky but also statewide. He has built upon a successful Soph. campaign(Int. in last yrs. title game) and tied for the State Lead with 6Ints. A tad small but great technique, tenacity, and High IQ allow him to shut down opposing WR's. Special Teams: Jr.RB/KR James Davis James is a true speedster with the ability to go to the house everytime he touches the ball! Uses speed and passion to run with purpose. A dual threat and I look for him to be a difference maker in the playoffs. Outlook: The Tigers have turned what many thought would be a rebuilding year into a year that has them poised to make a deep playoff run! The Tigers are looking to return to Title Game and bring the trophy back home to N.Ky. It will take a total team effort and focus but we are ready for the task at hand.

I like Holy Cross but just think Beechwood deserves more love considering how they've played this year and how they are playing. Very Underrated, Holy Cross may have been a little over rated with all the start of the season hype they received.

Jaylin Williams is good but sadly very under utilized. Holy Cross will need to pass a bit more to make a Deep Playoff run! Thoughts??

Man I get there are some Holy Cross fans but if you didn't do your homework Beechwood was leading the CovCath game at halftime. Instead of trying to give Holy Cross so much love you should be elevating Beechwood who every one thought they would have a down year. Instead, they should be higher on this Top 10. I don't care about athletes, I care about wins! Beechwood is poised and vry tough minded. Young and Hungry. Plus the Tigers already scrimmaged Dixie to a virtual draw and they are 5A. Beechwood beats all those teams: Campbell, Dixie, and HC.
